The Oldest Clock In The World And Salisbury Cathedral

Oldest clock in world Salisbury Cathedral
While on a break we visited Salisbury Cathedral, which is thought to be on the same ley line as Stonehenge. The Cathedral houses the world's oldest working clock, as per the photo above.

The first stones for Salisbury Cathedral were laid in 1202. The clock is from 1386 and was originally housed in a separate bell tower until 1789. It is now positioned in the North Nave Aisle.

The clock has no face, as per modern time pieces, and was designed to strike the hours.

The power is supplied by two large stones hanging from pulleys. As the weights fall, ropes unwind from the wooden barrels. One barrel drives the main wheel which is regulated by the escapement, the other drives the striking mechanism and the air brake.

When the weights reach the floor, they have to be lifted back up again, a task that explains the presence of two large wheels shaped like steering wheels at either side of the clock.

Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral itself is a special place with Britain's largest spire at 404 feet (123m) and has the earliest choir stalls dating back to 1236.

The Cathedral's Chapter House is home to the best preserved of four surviving original Magna Carta sealed by King John in 1215. Written in abbreviated Latin on Vellum, the document set down for the first time the relationship between the King and his subjects and their rights.

The Magna Carta's significance in the democratic world continues today, inspiring documents from the United States Constitution to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I've mentioned before that I do not belong to any organised religion but I love the atmosphere and history of places of worship. I'd recommend a visit to Salisbury Cathedral if you are ever in the area and, while there, take a look at the world's oldest working clock, the tall spire, the medieval Cloisters, the Magna Carta, the 1236 choir stalls and so on.

The World's Oldest Working Clock At Salisbury Cathedral

The Ley Line Grid With Access To Astral Travel Now Open

Angels and the stairway to heaven

I thought I'd post something a little different today from Tristran. Most of it is far removed from my own beliefs about aliens, angels, ley lines, numbers and so on but it's always interesting to learn what other people think and believe - even if it does appear a little muddled.

One day the aliens will show themselves and admit that they have been on this planet since Roswell (1947). They will make out that they are good guys here to help us. Simply ask yourself, "If they are such good luvy duvy helpers, why have they happily watched civilization destroy itself over the past 60 years".

They will show great wonders like they did on Jan 1st 2011 with the 1.1.11 wake-up call. Approximately 75 million people across the world have seen the 11:11 wake-up call since Jan 1st 1991 and now have access to the (ley lines) grid and can quite possibly fly using astral travel.

Some aliens are 8ft tall like the standard height of angels or 'the watchers'. In their case the 'fallen b'nai Elohim' or men of God, a.k.a 'fallen ones'.

Those of us who have been seeing the numbers now probably have these 'angels' dna in our blood which explains why we can sense something wierd, wonderful, awesome and amazing is about to happen.

Ley-lines in the astral world are red, yellow and blue and will allow people to access this grid through interception points (standing stones) to this world. Its almost like a train line where stations (stone circles) allow spirits to disembark onto another ley-line.

Many ley-lines intersect at Glastonbury (England) which is why that area is so spiritually strong.

In the Book of Enoch all people that were contaminated with fallen angel dna are damned to walk this world for all eternity. These spirits are classed as ghosts, demons, nephil spirits, giants, rephiums and raphahs.

It is a common misconception by humans to class ghosts/demons as evil. It is not the demons fault that they will never leave this world. This is why demons are so hostile when their land is invaded by humans.

If anyone feels a strong desire to return to a place (that they once knew) then that makes them a raphah (pronounced raw-faw).

Following numbers (such as 11:11 etc) is a very bad idea. The ancestral spirits will also gladly insert numbers into your dreams if you order (demand) them to. They will tempt you with this pagan new-age stuff if it allows them to torture your soul after you die.

Trust me, you do not want to end up in the company of these fallen watchers (ancestral spirits). The level of fear that radiates from these guys will destroy souls in less than 10 minutes.

If you know of anyone who has met these fallen watchers, ask them how they felt. They will probably be shaking as they relive their moments of fear.

Ley Nodes The Doorways To Other Worlds And Times

the earth in motion and ley linesA while back I published a post with the title The Ancient Secret Transmitters Of Energy. It was about how I had visited a few places situated on ley lines.

Ley lines interest me and, following something I researched recently, I am wondering if there are places along these lines where time and space slips away.

Where two ley lines cross they are known as nodes and supposedly strange things can happen at these points. Here is an experience by a seasoned ley line hunter Stephen Jenkins.

Stephen's first sighting came about when he was just sixteen years old and this happened near Mounts Bay in Cornwall:

"The clumps and bushes were very still in the windless evening light when I suddenly experienced what I took to be a startlingly vivid optical illusion. Scattered among them, motionless but frighteningly distinct, was a crowd, a host of armed men. For a moment I stood stock still, unable to believe my eyes, then I began to run towards them. At once something like a curtain of heated air wavered in front of them briefly - and there were only bushes and stones.

A lot later in life, while looking at an Ordnance Survey map, he became aware that where he had the vision was approaching, or near to, a ley node.

Now married he returned to the spot of his first such experience together with his wife - and history repeated itself. "And again, as in the deepening light of that August afternoon thirty-eight years before, the illusion of armed men! And again the vanishing as one took a few paces forward."

Strange things can happen at ley nodes: dizziness, disorientation, visions and even the appearance of UFOs.

An interesting theory about UFOs came from Air Marshall Sir Victor Goddard. At a meeting of the British Interplanetary Society he suggested that we shouldn't assume that UFOs were from other planets - they might simply come from an invisible world that coincides with the space of our own.

Though many will dispute the existence of ley lines it could be possible that, at powerful nodes, time and space as we know it is interrupted and sensitives get glimpses of other times or even other civilisations or spiritual realms.

Ley nodes may be the doorways to other worlds and times running parallel to our own.

Following In The Footsteps Of St.Michael

St.Michaels Mount, Cornwall - The Start Of The St.Michael Line
St Michaels Mount
I believe that sometimes the 'universe' pushes information onto our path that might just be useful or important. It's then up to us whether we follow this or use the information. As an example:

Since I wrote the post about ley lines Ancient Secret Transmitters Of Energy I keep 'bumping' into more and more information on the subject. This also seems to include St.Michael (I'm a Michael) and have links to Stonehenge, where I visited recently, see Photos Of The Stonehenge Mystery

I haven't gone looking for the information, it just appears.

Brought to my attention was, for example, the St.Michael line or ley. This starts near to where I live at St. Michael's Mount (Cornwall, South West England) and crosses England in a straight line to the east coast at Hopton. The line bisects many churches called St.Michael.

The line travels through numerous ancient sites including Glastonbury and Avebury (largest stone circle in the world) and also many hilltop shrines including Barrow Mump, Cliften Hampden and Brent Tor, all of which have ruined St. Michael's churches on their summits.

The St. Michael line also forms the hypotenuse of a right angle triangle connecting Glastonbury and Avebury with Stonehenge.

Moving on, I was talking to someone about the May Day celebration held in Cornwall at Helston (see video below) - and I found out that the patron saint of Helston is St.Michael.

The name Helston is a version of the Hele stone, the stone of the Sun God - which is the same as the Heel Stone at Stonehenge. The Heel Stone lines up with the sun at Midsummer.

I also came across the fact that some knowledgeable types believe St.Michael was actually Lugh the sun god.

So everything I've come across by 'coincidence' has been linked together. So, for me, this may well be important and I'll hopefully take some positive steps to see what else I can discover on these subjects.

With our recent break the places we visited was left to 'chance'. My wife and I wanted to go somewhere and things fell into place. First our friends invited us to stay with them for a weekend in Wimborne, Dorset. So we built a journey going to and from where they lived.

We didn't want to spend much money so I looked at the UK Travelodge website where they sometimes offer rooms at reasonable rates. I found the cheapest offers were at Illminster, Amesbury (about 4 miles from Stonehenge) and Torquay. So on the way to Wimborne we stopped for five nights at Illminster and Amesbury and after seeing our friends returned home via Torquay for a few nights.

It all fitted together perfectly and we saw all the sort of places we enjoy visiting. It's as if everything slotted together like a jigsaw. Now the jigsaw is being expanded to include more information on ley lines, stone circles, St.Michael and Stonehenge.

It will be interesting to see where the journey eventually takes us.

The Ancients Secret Transmitters Of Energy

Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury Cathedral
I guess I've had an interest in ley lines tucked away at the back of my mind for many years. While on my recent break, however, these were brought to the forefront when I visited Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral. There's nothing like experiencing things to make them become more real.

Salisbury Cathedral - Old Sarum - Stonehenge Ley Line
Salisbury, Old Sarum, Stonehenge ley line
These three places I visited are all in a straight line, supposedly on one of the many ley lines that exist throughout England and, of course, the rest of the world.

The modern idea of ley lines is usually attributed to Alfred Watkins who, in 1926, realised that standing stones, stone circles, earthworks and prehistoric mounds are found in straight lines.

All Watkins was really doing, however, was re-discovering what ancient and previous cultures had always known.

The Wikipedia definition for ley lines is that they 'are hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths. An archaeologist would probably say that these lines were ceremonial or sacred ways that linked the Great Houses or Ritual Centres.

Stonehenge MysteryFor many though there is more to ley lines than this - they are energy lines. If true this would make Stonehenge extremely powerful as the monument is a crossing point for 14 ley lines. Maybe this is why the various stone circles were built: to be transmitters of energy. They were erected where the earth's energy could be tapped.

This could explain why many stones are said to have healing powers. I mentioned this when writing about the Cornish Men-an-Tol Stones.

Meditation and visualisation are often given a boost when undertaken at such places. Things happen at powerful ley line energy centres.

Peter Thornborrow tells of how walking through the stone circle called 'Long Meg and Her Daughters' in Cumbria he felt dizzy. He described this as if he was 'not really there ... not really in the same time.' He leaned against one of the stones to steady himself and felt what he described as 'an electric shock.'

It's also interesting that UFO sightings are often reported near to ley lines and ancient monuments. There was a case I wrote about: UFOs and King Arthur's Castle at Tintagel.

If we look quickly at ancient cultures, many have their equivalent. The Australian Aborigines talk of paths called turingas and say that at certain times of the year these are energised and revitalise the surrounding countryside.

The Incas had spirit lines known as ceques.

The Germans have Heilige Linien. Teutberger Wald has a large network of these lines which include the megalithic stone circle at Bad Meinberg.

I suppose we should ask why main stream science doesn't take ley lines and possible transmitters of energy seriously. So many cultures and countries have their own versions going back thousands of years. Surely this alone should encourage investigation.

Old Sarum
OLD SARUM: Old Sarum stands high above Salisbury Plain and is one of the most important landmarks in the history of Wessex. It is an Iron Age hill fort and Norman fortress. The photo below shows the deep ditch that surrounded the walls. You can just make out the spire of Salisbury Cathedral in the centre of the horizon. The picture above shows how Old Sarum would once have looked.
