Important Advice For Wives On How To Look After Their Husbands

Advice for wives

This post is probably akin to lighting the touch paper and then standing well back! It's advice for wives on how you should look after your husband. I haven't shown Karin the new rules as yet but I'm sure she'll comply - but if you should hear an explosion while reading the cuttings below, you'll understand why.

This excellent advice is from old newspaper cuttings. The first is from The Isle of Man Times of October 12 1895; the second from the Western Gazette of August 1 1930; the third from The Derby Daily Telegraph fof March 7 1932 and the fourth from The Derby Daily Telegraph of March 1832.

Hopefully this will help a few more marriages survive.
