With Synchronicity And Intuition The Glass Slipper Has To Fit

Cinderella's glass slipper and intuition and precognition

I feel that with the likes of synchronicity and precognition we sometimes try too hard to make them into a pattern that we ourselves want to recognise. In other words we make the pattern fit to our liking and perhaps ignore or mould other pieces into the shapes that we want.

I see synchronicity and precognition as being more spontaneous. We can tell if it's the real thing by how we ourselves feel. It's intuition if you like, a gut feeling and we should know, absolutely know that whatever we have witnessed or experienced rings true.

Yes, everything is linked: the past, the future, other realms, the living, the dead and so on. But this also makes it possible to be led astray and head for the wrong direction, answer or conclusion - and just because we have insisted that those pieces must fit as per our vanity or ego demands.

There is meaning in everything but the meaning we make fit - like the ugly sisters feet into Cinderella's glass slipper - may not be the whole truth. It's a foot but not necessarily the right foot and fit. It's why cultivating intuition and being guided by our senses is important.

We are all seeking answers but these have be the right ones, the slipper has to fit.

  2. Everything you say here is exactly why I don't think synchronicity can be consciously generated. We can ask for a sign and may then experience a synchro, but as you say, the shoe has to fit!

    1. Looks like we disagree a little here as I think we can create synchronicity with our thoughts. If we visualise a, say, need and then the universe brings about a 'coincidence' to fullfil this - this is, surely, still synchronicity. We are not making the bits fit, it's happened and we can have that same intuition or gut feeling that this is the answer.

      Interesting!

    2. With all my experiences in sync I would have to agree more with Trish here.
My focusing on something won't make you have a sync along with me.These things have to come from outside the individuals involved, these are some collective group consciousness experiences, not something I can really see an individual influence,it may look that way to an individual, but I feel that's more of an illusion of self power than a reality.
That's just my thoughts on the matter, but maybe you're right Mike?
Who really knows,I just don't go looking the gift-horse in the mouth, because it's incredible whatever the source.

    4. Interesting Darren. "My focusing on something won't make you have a sync along with me" - I don't see why not, we all influence the world and are part of the whole. This makes us creators, though we don't necessarily know how whatever it is will be brought about. So when it does appear it can be via a meaningful coincidence i.e. synchronicity.

Nice to disagree at times! As you say, who really knows.

    5. "Intent is s weird concept to begin with if you really strip it down to the core, like, if I open my hand, is that my intention? I feel like I have that intention, but the mystery from where that impulse comes from,[...]even just intending to open my hand is a mystery"

"there's a very classic cliche of a stoner or someone on LSD in a cartoon or a movie, you always see theres somewone who just looks at their hand and just says oh wow and is looking at their hand...but yeah have you ever looked at your hand and contemplated[...] What a fine machine we are living in."

    6. You can get into the world of thinking why we do anything at all. Like when we watch ourselves listening to what we are saying almost 'out of body'. Or observe ourselves doing something. Is it the real 'I' looking on while the player plays his part?

  3. I so agree. Going through what is called, "The proof is in the pudding"... as I write!! Thanks Mike
