Charged Up 'My Battery' & Two Coincidences Popped Up

I thought it strange I hadn't had any coincidences for quite a while and then three came together. Nothing very extraordinary but nevertheless showed I was nearly tuned in again.

As regular readers may know the numbers 67 and 76 often occur in my life, sometimes with the addition of the number 9 - as with my Father's Birth Certificate for example.

I checked this blog's stats twice - quite at random times. As can be seen below - they both featured 679 and 769!

My wife and I were talking and she mentioned how we hadn't seen any creatures in our garden for a long time, other than birds. You've guessed it, the very next day we had three visitors.

First was a toad!

Secondly a squirrel, who seemed determined to get into our front porch and kept jumping up against the window. 

Thirdly a large slow worm was curled up near our fence - unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me. It seems that 'things' often do come in threes.

This was George Orwell's house at 22 Portobello Road, London. The house (and the sign bearing his name) is genuine but the question is: Has the photo been photoshopped and the camera added? Could well be, but the photo gets a message across!

I then found the same photo on the Imgur website and when I saw the number of views it had - 976 - I saw it as an indicator that I should publish the photo.

The 976 Coincidence

A quick Sunday coincidence or synchronicity story.

I have written previously how 76 and 67 are special numbers in my life and especially if the 76 is combined with a 9 to make 976 - see, for example, my post The Missed Post Coincidence And Other Wanderings where I wrote:

Yesterday I was shown a photo from the late 1980's where we were loaned a Mercedes car, quite a decent model at the time, though it looks bit dated nowadays. I noticed in the picture that the number on the registration was 976. It's bizarre how some numbers appear to crop up over and over.

John Lennon And The Coincidence With Number 9

I've written previously how the numbers 76 and 67 have followed me through life. The number 9 is also important to me especially when added to 76 i.e 976.

I recently wanted a copy of my father's birth certificate for personal reasons - and the number on the certificate was 976 (of course!).

I was then reminded in a blog comment by Justin Sage that John Lennon had a lot of number 9's in his life. He is quoted as saying, "I lived in 9 Newcastle Road, I was born on the 9th October. it's just a number that follows me around."

So I thought I'd collate some of the 9's in John Lennon's life. Here we go:

John was born on October 9th.

His birth time is said to have been 6.30am - 6+3=9.

He lived in his early years at 9 Newcastle Road, Wavertree, Liverpool - Newcastle, Wavertree and Liverpool have 9 letters.

He travelled on the No.72 bus to art college and 7+2+9

At art school he was friends with Stuart Sutcliffe (9 letters in surname).

In 1957 Lennon met McCartney (9 letters in surname).

The Beatles played at the Cavern Club for the first time on February 9th 1961.

Beatles manager Brian Epstein first saw the Beatles on November 9th 1961.

The Beatles EMI record deal was confirmed on May 9th 1962.

The Beatles' furst single, Love Me Do, was on Parlophone R4949.

The Beatles debut appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show was on the February 9th 1964.

John met Yoko on November 9th 1966.

In April 1969 he changed his name to John Ono Lennon. An there just happens to be nine o's in the combined names of John Ono Lennon and Yoko Ono Lennon.

The Beatles had been together for 9 years when they broke up in 1970.

John and Yoko had an apartment on West 72nd Street and their original Dakota Buildings apartment was No.72. (So two lots of 7+2=9).

Yoko had a miscarriage on October 9, 1969 - John’s 29th birthday

Their son Sean was born on October 9th - John's own birthday.

Lennon's '#9 Dream' was a song on his 1974 album Walls And Bridges. The album was his ninth non-Beatles album, and was issued in the ninth month of the year.

The album Walls And Bridges featured a drawing by John Lennon when aged 11 showing a footballer with a number 9 shirt.

#9 Dream peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was catalogued as Apple R6003 (6+3=9) in the United Kingdom.

As well as '#9 Dream' John also wrote 'Revolution No.9' and 'One After 909,

After he was shot, John was rushed to Roosevelt Hospital on 9th Avenue, Manhattan.

Roosevelt and Manhattan both have 9 letters.

John's death in New York was on December 8th but, as Cynthia his first wife writes in her own biography, this would have been December 9th in Liverpool his place of birth.

I'm sure there are many other 9s in John Lennon's life but that'll do as an example of how certain numbers often pop up in our lives.

976 And The Strange Symbols On Planet Mars Rocks

I was trying to unlock a business briefcase leftover from the days when I needed such things. The combination number was 976. It was all a bit sticky as I hadn't looked inside for probably a few years but I managed to get it open - and that was that.

The same night I switched on the television and there was an old movie called 976 - Evil being shown. I didn't watch it as there was football (soccer) on another channel, much more to my taste. But the number stuck in my head so today I followed my feeling and Googled 976.

Somehow I got to a website about the moon, because the website name ended in /976. It was all about how the moon might in fact be hollow and could even be artificial - not a real planet in other words.

The website Pure Insight wrote, "The sun is 395 times larger than the moon, yet it is 395 times farther away from the earth than the moon. The two appear the same size when seen from earth because of the distance differences. Is this a natural or artificial phenomenon? Where in the universe can one find three celestial bodies with this kind of coincidence?"

It then went on to talk about how we only see one side of the moon, how meteorite craters are all too shallow, UFOs that have been seen there and how the moon is actually a hollow spaceship.

Lots for many to laugh about there but, well, who knows for sure.

Somehow this then got me to the NASA website and a photo of Mars as seen below from the Mars Exploration Rover Mission. It's genuine and untouched and you can see the original yourself here.


What interested me was the mound of rocks towards the top of the photo as there seemed to be marks on this, plus to me it appeared a strange shape to be natural.

I cropped the photo added a slight touch of sepia for colour and the result is at the head of this post. Note the three black marks, some sort of symbol? And to the right of the mound running downwards seems to be another row of markings - writing or symbols?

Okay, might just be my imagination but if some people think the moon is artificial and there are UFOs coming and going at the 'other side' who knows.

After all, isn't it odd that there have been no recent visits by man to the moon? I think that man did go to the moon but perhaps he found something he didn't quite like - so 'those' photos at the time were done in a studio - thus the debate over the discrepancies, and the whole conspiracy theory about how man never actually went to the moon.

It's strange how the number 976 started me on a whole new track - mmmm, interesting!
