Travelling To Infinity And Beyond With Graffiti

Graffiti street art
I know I shouldn't, but I like some forms of graffiti - or should it be called street art? The picture above I saw in Ibiza and there's something about it that appealed to me for some reason.

Then I noticed the 'message' below, which isn't easy to read but it says:

INFINITY
I want to go to infinity
and beyond .. I want to
fly in the skies and swim
in the seas. I want to be
as free as a bird and
as wild as a horse.
I have happy and sad
moments. I am happy.
Well at least I think
so. There is just
one thing
that's missing
and that's you ... I
think you know who
you are ... With you
I want to go to infinity
and beyond and never
turn back.

Yes, I know it's a bit naff, and I must be getting a bit soft, but at the time the picture and the words seemed to fit together. Or maybe it was the sunshine and too many glasses of red wine. In the cold light of day it's maybe not quite so special at all, except for the people concerned. But that's as with much of life.

  1. I like it too,Mike.
Infinity themes and symbols seem to play an intriguing part in a lot of synchronistic events that occur in my life...and I ask myself when will it all end ?-)

  2. I think it's a cool thing for street art! The poem has that longing to it that says it was written from the heart. What interesting treasures you brought back from Ibiza.
