"My father was born 26 September 1900. This is my father's WW1 Demobilization Ration Book (for Soldier, Sailor or Airman) dated 26 September 1919 - so issued on his birthday. Another strange coincidence for his birth-date is his father sailing for South Africa on the Berwick Castle for Durban on this day in 1902."
