This weeks vintage photos and illustrations from my Google+ pages.
The photo below is an albumen silver print from circa 1860. Fancy transport for the twins!
The drawing of the Little Pink Lady is by A.Wallis Mills and was fist published in 1912.
Is this one of the first trials for mobile phones!
And finally this week, a vintage glamour photo. What is striking is the young woman's waist.

'The Lost World,' that's quite a drawing! 'The Little Pink Lady' is a good drawing but an unusual composition.... framed photo hung so high up.ReplyDelete
Looks like Cell(a) and Earl (Url) had that romantic photo made in time for Valentines. (Never mind - it was funnier in my head!)
Such a tiny waist... Dolly Parton, Country singer has a 19"... guess it's one reason she looks so endowed.(smile)
Love the Doyle cover! These other photos are great, too!ReplyDelete
