The Incredible Coincidence Of The Thai Teachers

media coincidenceHere's a coincidence from a cutting I received from the British Daily Mail newspaper. I've printed out the wording again as the text on the right may not be too clear.

"A few years ago, I was having a meal out in a Chinese restaurant in Tenby, South Wales.

Sitting at the next table were four women who were obviously celebrating something, due to the greetings cards on their table and the 'toasting' going on.

Curiosity got the better of me and I asked what was the occasion. One of the women said she was leaving the country and her
friends to take up a teaching post in Thailand and this was her farewell party.

A women at a nearby table said she could not help overhearing our conversation and was curious as to which school she was going to in Thailand.

The woman told her and, amazingly, it was the position the other woman had just relinquished, having spent several years teaching English there.

They didn't know each other, one had never been in the restaurant before and neither lived in Tenby. What a coincidence!"

  1. That's a good one. It's the sort of straightforward synchro that really underscores some deeper order to things.

  2. I don't believe in coincidences, everything happens for a reason. There are times in my life when the veil has been lifted and I have understood the reasons behind some of things that have happened in my life. These are lovely days......and so wondrous. Excellent post.
