Signs And Meaning To The Moon And Jupiter

Symbols, signs, synchronicity: they all depend on what is meaningful to us personally and how we interpret them. It's not something that can be found in books - though they can be a guide - instead, it's what we feel deep inside.

Others may laugh and mock at our interpretations, but that's okay, people will often ridicule what they don't understand or don't want to understand. The fact is that - if we think we've had some sort of message or guidance via symbols, signs or synchronicity - then we probably have.

If it's good news enjoy it, if it's not so good go careful.

On Christmas eve Karin and I were talking about people we had lost over the years, and how they had been involved with our enjoyment of the festive time: my dad and mum, Janice, Karin's mother and so on.

As Karin made her way upstairs to bed I said something about how good it would be if there was some sort of sign that they were watching down on us. Not sure why 'down', when there is no right way up or down, but there we go.

I went to lock our front door and for some reason stepped outside into the damp, cold air. I looked up and the moon looked so different from usual, it almost had a halo and I smiled to myself that our lost family were looking down on us.

There was also a star to the left of the moon that was extra bright. I took a few snaps with my camera, they weren't too good without a strong zoom but they did show an orb in a couple of the photos - well, maybe.

I later learned that the bright star was in fact the planet Jupiter. I also read that this would be entering my astrology sign in June of 2013 and that this will bring an 'emotional attachment to home and family.'

The small piece I read on the Internet also said that, 'this might be a good time to start researching the family tree and find out about your roots.' I actually mentioned in a post a few days ago, The Biggest Coincidence There Has Ever Been, that I had just started to do this. I even published a photo an ancestor.

I guess what I'm trying to say, in a roundabout way, is that how the moon and Jupiter looked on Christmas eve was meaningful to me - no matter what others may think. And this is the what I was on about at the beginning of this post about symbols, signs and synchronicity: it's the feeling of their meaningfulness that's important.

Wonder what or who told me step outside on Christmas eve? But, whatever, we had a wonderful Christmas and everything was perfect.

976 And The Strange Symbols On Planet Mars Rocks

I was trying to unlock a business briefcase leftover from the days when I needed such things. The combination number was 976. It was all a bit sticky as I hadn't looked inside for probably a few years but I managed to get it open - and that was that.

The same night I switched on the television and there was an old movie called 976 - Evil being shown. I didn't watch it as there was football (soccer) on another channel, much more to my taste. But the number stuck in my head so today I followed my feeling and Googled 976.

Somehow I got to a website about the moon, because the website name ended in /976. It was all about how the moon might in fact be hollow and could even be artificial - not a real planet in other words.

The website Pure Insight wrote, "The sun is 395 times larger than the moon, yet it is 395 times farther away from the earth than the moon. The two appear the same size when seen from earth because of the distance differences. Is this a natural or artificial phenomenon? Where in the universe can one find three celestial bodies with this kind of coincidence?"

It then went on to talk about how we only see one side of the moon, how meteorite craters are all too shallow, UFOs that have been seen there and how the moon is actually a hollow spaceship.

Lots for many to laugh about there but, well, who knows for sure.

Somehow this then got me to the NASA website and a photo of Mars as seen below from the Mars Exploration Rover Mission. It's genuine and untouched and you can see the original yourself here.


What interested me was the mound of rocks towards the top of the photo as there seemed to be marks on this, plus to me it appeared a strange shape to be natural.

I cropped the photo added a slight touch of sepia for colour and the result is at the head of this post. Note the three black marks, some sort of symbol? And to the right of the mound running downwards seems to be another row of markings - writing or symbols?

Okay, might just be my imagination but if some people think the moon is artificial and there are UFOs coming and going at the 'other side' who knows.

After all, isn't it odd that there have been no recent visits by man to the moon? I think that man did go to the moon but perhaps he found something he didn't quite like - so 'those' photos at the time were done in a studio - thus the debate over the discrepancies, and the whole conspiracy theory about how man never actually went to the moon.

It's strange how the number 976 started me on a whole new track - mmmm, interesting!

When the moon was full it got me thinking as to why it has so many craters - which can be seen quite easily.

The usual opinion is that they were created either by violent volcanic action or by a bombardment of meteors many millions of years ago. The same could apply to the surface of Mars (photo right - a Mars Express satellite image).

We could ask: if the moon was hit by those meteors why wasn't earth?

Earth, as I understand it, is protected by the atmosphere and most would have been burned up before hitting the earth's surface. This is fine, but some of the moon craters are so vast that any meteors of a similar size, which could have caused them, would almost certainly have been capable of also reaching the surface of the earth.

This got me thinking about a theory I heard or read about many years ago. I'm not sure but it may have been conjured up by Tom Lethbridge.

The theory is that there was a real 'War of the Worlds' and that many of the craters are caused by atomic or similar explosions. The then inhabitants of Mars and Venus perhaps fought over the mineral rights of the moon. One set of warriors may even have had a base or bases on the moon to defend.

At first this may seem pure fantasy until, that is, I read that Easter Islanders have a belief that many planets are inhabited - including the moon.

We now know that the moon is not peopled by aliens but perhaps the Islanders' beliefs have been built on very old knowledge. The Easter 'ancients' were aware, for example, that the sun was the centre of the solar system - long before Copernicus. They claimed that, 'All the planets worship the sun.'

They also believe that an invisible race of people live on earth, which is food for thought - a parallel existence perhaps? Or a source of some of the UFO sightings?

Many 'primitive' races had a knowledge of alien races. The West African Dogon people have knowledge of Sirius and say this was told to them by visitors to the earth from another star system.

The Dogon people described Sirius B before it's existence was known by western astronomers and that it revolves around Sirius A every 50 years. These facts weren't known generally until 1844.

Sometimes there are truths hidden away in old beliefs, traditions and stories. Who knows, perhaps the craters of the Moon and Mars are the remnants of a War of the Worlds.
