A Donkey's Heavy Load Leads To Rambling Thoughts

Readers will probably view the photo above differently. At one end of the scale will be laughter and at the other, sadness that animals are sometimes used to carry loads way beyond their strengths or capabilities.

I remember reading in an occult book many years ago about how we as individuals should never take on the loads belonging to others or should sacrifice ourselves in favour of someone else. Who, they argued, can say whose life is the most valued?

This by no means that we shouldn't help others, in fact this is probably our duty to offer assistance - but only if the load in manageable.

This follows even into the realms of business. When I first went into management my boss told me I was doing too much myself. He said he didn't care if he came in and I had my feet up on the desk (as if!) as long as the figures were good and all of the work was completed. He then told me a story:

Bob lived opposite Alan, their houses faced each other. One day Bob lent Alan £1000 on the understanding that it would be repaid on the following Saturday morning.

Alan knew he was unable to repay the debt so on the Friday night he couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned and was worried sick about what Bob would say and how he could ever repay him. He got into a terrible mental state until ...

He went to his bedroom window and called across the road to Bob.

Bob opened his window and Alan shouted across to him that he wouldn't be able to pay the £1000 in the morning as promised. He then went back to bed and slept soundly.

It was now Bob who couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned wondering how he could ever get his money back from Alan.

The load had been switched from Alan to Bob.

Sometimes it's necessary to put a little of the onus on others, as we should all play an equal part in the game of life.

We are the souls and spirits to help fashion and dwell in future realms

I have mentioned previously that when my best friend Colin died his wife gave me some of his books and papers on various spiritual subjects. One I looked at yesterday is about the human aura but goes on to talk about how this effects the Earth and other planets.

The following is a quote I found interesting when I opened the booklet at a random page. It was written by R.P.Beesley:

"The Earth itself, like other planets, wears a mantle of environment; this we know as atmosphere. But atmosphere is more than a state of gases, it is a living condition that can be affected by the thought forces released by its inhabitants.

Some planets have very high spiritual atmospheres and carry very advanced civilisations. Our own needs a lot of refining, for many of the thought waves released are anything but spiritual or refining.

We draw from our atmosphere just as we breathe air and drink water, so right living and right thinking is important for it feeds back. Thus the innocent can be affected; like rain it falls on the just and unjust, so the way we live, think and do our business creates a climate of living.

In the human aura this shows as personality; in world or planet aura it indicates man's state of affairs.

The spirit is the true self, this is our eternal body. That it will grow, expand in wisdom and knowledge, become strong, resilient, courageous and deep in understanding, is the purpose of its being, thus to become builders, teachers, skilled artisans of creation.

As the Kingdoms grow other worlds are still in the making, so these are the souls and spirits to help fashion and to dwell in these future realms - brave new worlds invested in the consciousness of God. We must be humble servants, partners and workers, serving the Universal Consciousness in all things."

So, with all that is going on in the world today, I wonder what the state of the Earth's 'atmosphere' is at the present time? Are we improving or polluting with our thoughts? Just as we create the state of our own auras we also seem to have a duty to release 'right' thoughts for the betterment of everyone on Earth. We all have a role to play.

The Currents Of Thought Within The Universal Mind

I was reading Darren's blog and his post The World (Wide Web) Is A Circle with examples of how synchronicity links up various blogs and bloggers. Trish from synchrosecrets left a comment on the post which included the following: "I've often wondered about the simultaneous thing that occurs with synchros ... It's all so intricate and interconnected that you really do have to ask who is running the show." This in turn got me thinking ...

It got me thinking about currents of thought, which emanate from the Universal Mind. I first read about this in The History And Power Of Mind by Richard Ingalese, first published way back at the beginning of the 1900s. I've mentioned previously that this was one of the first books that held my attention long enough to get me interested in the occult and hidden teachings.

What Ingalese maintains is that "there are currents of thought in the great magnetic sea of consciousness in which we live, and we can and do attach ourselves either consciously or unconsciously to different currents with definite results.."

He goes on to explain how the magnetic consciousness, of which we are a part, "... is pulsating with life and is capable or receiving and transmitting thought.  In this great magnetic sea there are thought currents as clearly defined as there are currents in the air or in the oceans."

We humans can and do draw on these currents in Universal Mind which we are sympathetically vibrating with.  In other words if you, I and others are thinking along similar lines our minds may become attached to this current and we will receive the same ideas. We all end up with similar thoughts - plagiarism can be explained in this way. Think of the inventions, discoveries, story lines and so on that are disputed as to who first came up with them - but they all did, by connecting with a current of thought.

Currents of thought can also explain some examples of coincidences and synchronicity.

I guess in answer to Trish's question about who is running the show we all are. We are all influencing each other with our thoughts, actions and deeds. Darren wrote a blog post, Trish left a comment and this gave me a subject to write about today - which you are now reading. And so the idea goes on and develops and alters according to the readers' interpretation and interest.

Whatever we say influences others and starts off a current of thought: some weak and feeble but others strong and powerful - and which will go viral in Internet terms.

As Darren suggests the world is a circle. We all have an important role to play. Everything we do can set off a chain reaction that will travel a certain distance. Some will quickly fade but others could change the world. We are all VIPs and have influence - let's use it wisely.
