What We Give Out, We Get Back - But Not Always Exactly As We Want!

There was a woman who, when things annoyed her, would always say, "That really bugs me." One day she found the chest of drawers, where she kept some of her delicate clothes, infested with small beetles. A coincidence?

A man called Clive wanted some goldfish in a large glass bowl for his living room and - as he had read a little about the power of the mind - started demanding a bowl of fish from the universe. A few days later a neighbour dropped in to see him carrying a plastic bowl with some fish he had caught that day. "Do you want some of these fish as I won't be able eat them all?" he asked. Another coincidence?

In a way both of these people got what they asked for. Okay it wasn't exactly what they had in mind but whose fault was that?
As with everything we give out eventually it returns, either to smooth our path or slap us in the face. Words and what we say are important and it's not just a case of being negative or positive.

Florence Scovel-Shin in her book The Game of Life And How To Play It writes about how she saw some beautiful rose trees in the florist's window and set about requesting one.
Easter came, and with it a perfect rose tree from a friend as a gift. She phoned to say thank you and told her that it was exactly what she wanted.

Her friend replied, "I didn't send you a rose tree, I sent you lilies!"
The man at the florist had mixed up the order and Florence writes, "He sent me a rose tree simply because I had started the law in action, and I had to have a rose tree."

She also concludes that, "When man can wish without worrying every desire will be instantly fulfilled."

It's perhaps why we have to be careful what we say on a regular basis. If, for instance, we keep saying something or someone is a pain in the a*** it could well become one!

Parents don't always choose their words wisely (unintentionally, of course). "Don't go out without a jacket, you'll catch a cold," or, "Be careful, you'll fall." Atishoo and ouch may follow.

We are surrounded by influences from other people, the media, television and so on. I guess we have to try and make sure that our own words equate to exactly what we really want for ourselves and also what we want for our family, friends and the world in general.

The Answer To If Is The Answer To Life

If is an important word in our lives. If we hadn't have been at such and such a place, at a specific time, we may never have met our wife / husband / business partner and so on.  There are probably many such examples within our own lives of ifs that have brought us to wherever we are now.

These ifs may have allowed us positive benefits or the opposite.  But imagine if certain people had never lived, or had died young, then our world may well have been a very different place to what it is today. Okay, all of us effect or influence the world in some way, but some much more than others. Take Adolf Hitler for example.

In Passau, Germany it is known that a young Adolf Hitler, who couldn't swim and needed glasses, was saved from drowning when only four years old. The story has recently come to light again from a German archive.

It appears that in 1894 Hitler was plucked from the icy waters of the River Inn in Passau.  There is a story from the Donauzeltung-Danube newspaper that verifies this, though describes Hitler as a 'young fellow' rather than by name.

The report describes how a 'determined comrade' (it was a very left wing publication!) went into freezing water to save the four year old boy after he he had fallen through thin ice on the river.  He would otherwise have drowned.

It has since be suggested that a priest, Johann Kuehberger, was the man who saved the terrified young Hitler.

Stories like this raise all sorts of almost opposing questions.  If Hitler had drowned would there have been a second world war?  Or was the 1939-45 conflict destined to happen regardless?

We often read stories of how someone lives against all the odds, when perhaps others have been killed.  I've always though that this person was saved because they still had a purpose to fulfil on Earth.  Others will say it was a pure chance coincidence.

I also wrote a post about how there may also be a time to die: Is There A Time To Die As Well As A Time To Live?

But what determines who dies and when?  Maybe it's dependent  on what our life's purpose was pre-ordained to be. Were we destined to be a tyrant or a hero? Or more likely something in between, in varying degrees.

So who controls all of the ifs which brought us to where we are now? Is it some higher power or our own mind, or unconscious, interpreting our individual thoughts, deeds and actions?

I guess it's up to us as individuals to form our own answers to the many questions of life. We'll have all sorts of influences as we meander through life but our own conclusions are the ones to trust.  If we don't think for ourselves there is a danger that someone else will do this for us, and our personal freedoms will disappear - and then we'll be left with if only ...

The Reincarnation Of A 60,000 Year Old Alien

Cartwheel Galaxy
Occasionally I like to think about things that many will consider as too unbelievable to be true. Some of these inevitably turn out to be absolute codswallop but, if we never think about the unbelievable, we might miss out on something that is important. Once upon a time we would have considered going to the moon, the Internet and so on to be fantasy and impossible.

I was flicking through the pages of a book Same Soul, Many Bodies where the author, Dr Brian Weiss, talks about a patient he hypnotised to reveal a former life.

Patrick, as he was called, didn't come up with something standard. One of his previous lives was 60,000 years ago and, what's more, he was born on another planet.

Okay, so what was he doing on earth therefore? It appears that a section of his race migrated to Earth as their own planet was dying. When they arrived they were met by other migrants from other star systems.

These visitors mixed 'among the evolving sub-species, human beings'.

But there's more to it than just this. The migrants also went on to reincarnate on Earth which helped the evolution of the new human people.

Let's carry on with this 'unbelievable' scenario. Patrick indicated that the physical bodies of these immigrants were very similar to a human form but their minds were far, far superior.

One of Patrick's jobs was to 'supervise the storage of artifacts and written knowledge'. This information would be hidden until the human race caught up a little and was ready for the contents to be revealed.

One of the other things, mentioned by Patrick under hypnosis, was that, "the distinction between God and humans is minor." One small part of the hidden knowledge is "how to master the art of separating consciousness from the physical vehicle."

We hear of similar things to this today but one of the points of this ancient knowledge is that this allows the person to 'assume other, less solid bodies as it wishes.' Could this be the basis perhaps for the likes of angels who, when seen, appear to be something divine, almost god like? In reality they are simply an advanced form of ourselves.

Patrick went on to reveal other lives as a renowned mathematician in Central America, a Jewish Rabbi and a Buddhist monk.

All in all an unbelievable story but could parts in fact be true? Could people from other star systems have migrated to Earth? It would solve a lot of missing links. But there again, if Patrick was so advanced 60,000 years ago, how come he needs to go to a doctor for help and works as an accountant for a dot-com company?

That's the difficulty of thinking about the so called unbelievable we seem to be programmed to disbelieve.

The Dirty Thoughts Which May Plague Our Lives

cockroach
I killed an earwig and a woodlice today. I didn't mean to, but I was painting our garden fence and somehow I painted over them without realising.

"So what," you might say.

Well, I try never to kill or hurt anything - it's one of the reasons I'm a vegetarian. I've even been known to ask ants, who have decided to make a home in my lawn, to 'please move away.' The strange thing is, they often do!

I promise the ants I will put out some sugar out for them on the other side of the road, where there is a river and a small wood. And off they trot ... actually, I have no idea if they really like sugar but they seem to all disappear somewhere, perhaps not exactly trotting - but their mode of movement isn't really my concern.

I've written previously about the theory that mankind creates the likes of cockroaches, bugs and so on with our thoughts. Our not very nice thoughts that is.

Richard Ingalese, in his book The History and Power of Mind from 1904, reckons such creatures are created by our 'licentious, obscene thoughts.' So obviously I don't create these myself, okay maybe a few at odd times.

Ingalese writes, "... these miserable creatures born of man's lower mind cannot use atoms of higher rate vibration for their bodies, but must use those atoms which they vibrate harmoniously with. They gather up diseased atoms, dirty atoms, those atoms which can no longer be used by men or beasts, and through forms composed of these, express themselves upon the material plane. And thus man creates the destructive things of earth which rage war against him ..."

I suppose this indicates how careful we have to be with the thoughts we allow ourselves to dwell on.

Oh, and if bugs, cockroaches and the likes are created by our 'dirty' or low grade thoughts does this mean it is, in fact, okay to destroy them? Or is all life sacred?

The Creation Of Real Live Fairies And Goblins

FairiesSee what you think of this ...

I know of someone who has seen fairies and goblins - real ones, that is. They were at the bottom of his very large garden.

"Yea right," you might say with a snicker.

But isn't it true that man cannot imagine that which does not exist? No one can make a picture of the non existent. In which case fairies, goblins, brownies, undines and so on must be visible to the human eye. Or at least to those sensitive enough to see such things.

Yes, fairies and so on do exist in elemental forms and it's us humans who create them with our thoughts. As mankind develops we begin to think more forcefully. These thoughts become little centres of consciousness within the Divine Mind - or whatever you prefer to call this.

The centres eventually assume different forms, according to the quality and the subject of the thoughts which created them.

Elementals grows in a similar way to a mother's embryo and draw strength and vitality from the thinker. Since, whatever is created on the mental plane must embody itself in a physical form at some time, these elementals must take on some kind of physical bodies.

Some of these centres become fairies, goblins and the like while others become embodied in animal or insect form. There are good and bad elementals dependent on the nature of their consciousness - which, remember, was created by the thoughts of man.

If the centres are made of destructive thoughts they would become an animal or insect that will annoy man and perhaps be destructive to his property. This is all in line with the law that whatsoever man send forth mentally must and will return to him.

The Bible says in Genesis 1:31 - 'And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good.' So it's us who have created the not so good on earth by our thoughts.

Some say that man's licentious and obscene thoughts have created the creepy, crawling, stinging and biting bugs and insects that inhabit dirty and unclean places. As these are created by man's lower mind they are unable to use atoms of a high vibration for their bodies, so they choose 'diseased' or low vibration atoms, which can no longer be used by man or animals.

Yes, fairies and goblins and those nasty insects are with us and we created them all. This is a power within us because, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them" Genesis 1:27. In which case, like God, we can create.

Wonder what we'll create today? Cockroaches or something wonderful?

The Courage Of Listening To That Still Small Voice

Thinking
It takes courage to think differently from the media influenced majority. Most of what we read or write is a regurgitated version, neatly packaged, for the average consumer. The problem for most of us is that we find it difficult to think for ourselves and perhaps come up with something original or discover something that we know absolutely to be true.

I was thinking along these lines when, by coincidence, I came across this small piece from Raymond Morgan:

"Since there is a tendency to find safety in numbers, most people go along with popular opinion. They feel a sense of security in conforming with the crowd, repeating cliches, parroting catch phrases.

When someone comes along with a different viewpoint, a new angle or approach to a problem, one may feel his foundation begin to shake.

When one stops and analyzes his reactions at this time; begins to doubt his cherished opinions; takes a long, honest look at himself; listens and heeds that still, small voice within, turns his back on the crowd and seeks a new direction - he then begins the beautiful, painful act of thinking for himself."

By not thinking for ourselves we can find ourselves involved in wars, recessions, religions and other scenarios which we have been manipulated into believing are for our benefit, or are the only solution to a problem we probably didn't realise existed.

It takes courage to listen to that still, small voice - and then to act on this.
