The Shape Of The Universe And Gateways Between Dimensions

The shape of the universe and life

I know other people's dreams are mostly boring but I had a dream of sorts that appeared to continue while I was awake - so I'm going to bore you with it.

The dream was about the shape of the universe and the shape of our lives - which go hand in hand.

My head was first filled with the idea that everything is a circle, and then how this can't be true as it would mean we keep on coming back to exactly where we started - which seems pretty pointless.

So life isn't a circle and probably not some elaborate cycle either, because this would also produce more of the same - again this would serve no real purpose.

It was decided that the Universe - our lives included - is a spiral without a beginning or an end. By spiral I mean more of a spring shape, like the image above. A spring that goes on forever - as do we.

Our current life, as we know it, had an initiation more than a beginning and lasts until our transition as we gradually move along the eternal spiral shape. We don't die. As Emerson said: Every end is a beginning.

Gradually we shift along the spring, coil, spiral or whatever you would call this shape unrestricted by time.

Mayfly
Time is man made but other creatures may have a differing opinions. Take Mayflies, for example, providing they are allowed to have their say. The adults are very short-lived, from a few minutes to a few days, depending on the species, but whose to say if their lives appear any shorter to them than our 70, 80 or 90 years.

But let's get back to our own human lives. The spiral shape of the universe would allow us to journey between dimensions, time zones and so on. It could be the basis of paranormal experiences. Maybe this is what happens when people say they have visited Heaven, or claim they have travelled into a different period of time, or have had some precognitive message - a gateway opens. It might just be a matter of tuning in.

A gateway in the universe

Okay, I know this post is only dream based - though the gateway is my own idea - but it's as good as suggesting that the universe is doughnut shaped. And it's a fun subject to ponder.

The Creation Of Many Adam And Eves

Adam and Eve Garden of Eden

Probably, like many readers, I have pondered how man came about. Was it Creationism? Evolution? Or one of the other myriad, often wacky, suggestions?

What puzzles me most is Adam of the Bible. Was he really the first man? And Eve really the first woman? If so, does this mean their children interbred? Incest?

A lot of questions! But then someone told me the meaning of the word adam in Hebrew - the Bible being originally written in Hebrew. I've also Googled this, and it seems pretty much agreed as to what adam means.

I'll take the Wikipedia entry as an example:

"Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם‎, Arabic: آدم‎) in Biblical (as well as modern) Hebrew is sometimes used as the personal name of an individual and at other times in a generic sense meaning mankind"

Other suggestions I read:

"Adam means essentially human being or humanity. Not man"

This makes the likes of Genesis 1:27 more understandable when it says: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of of God created he him; male and female created he them."

If you want to go down the creationism trail surely this says that God created them i.e. humanity. This wasn't a single creation of one man, followed by one woman. So there was no single Adam and Eve, but many.

This also makes sense of Genesis 4:16 where Cain - the son of Adam and Eve - dwelt in the Land of Nod and how in Genesis 4:17 "Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch." Cain could only have done this if more women were available?

In Genesis 5:2 this is confirmed when it states: "Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."

Perhaps the lesson is that the Bible can be interpreted in various ways. It's intereting that this is accepted, for example, in the Bahá'í faith. `Abdu'l-Bahá writes in 'Some Answered Questions':

"Therefore, this story of Adam and Eve who ate from the tree, and their expulsion from Paradise, must be thought of simply as a symbol. It contains divine mysteries and universal meanings, and it is capable of marvelous explanations. Only those who are initiated into mysteries, and those who are near the Court of the All-Powerful, are aware of these secrets. Hence these verses of the Bible have numerous meanings." The UFO Which Brought The Raelian Elohim To Earth

Elohim UFO an artists impression
Artists impression of UFO seen by Claude Vorilhon founder of Raelian Religion
I've been looking at various religions and beliefs recently and re-discovered the Raelian Religion, which has a link with UFOs and aliens. I had read about this years ago but felt it too much like Erich von Daniken's early works at that time.

So what is the Raelian's slant on religion?

It was founded by Claude Vorilhon a French journalist who claims to have encountered a UFO in 1973.

The UFO landed and he was told by the occupant that they had come to see him. He was taken aboard the craft for six days and messages were dictated to him. These explained how the Genesis in the Bible is an account of how the Elohim created life on Earth.

Elohim and UFO

Elohim means 'those who came from the sky' but was wrongly translated as God. Elohim is a plural and therefore refers to a multiplicity of extraterrestrial beings. In Genesis 1:26 it states 'Let us make man in our image and likeness'. The important word here being 'our'.

The Elohim divided the 'waters from the waters' with explosions thus creating the first continent. On this they created the animals, vegetation and other life forms. Finally they made man (initially an artificial life form) with use of their advanced knowledge of DNA.

One group of the extraterrestrial creators, called Nephilim in the Bible engaged is sexual relationships with the humans and produced a race of people with superior intelligence. Jesus was created by Mary having sexual union with one of the Elohim.

Claude Vorilhon in 1973
Claude Vorilhon in 1973
All well and good and in some ways strangely believable but what is Claude Vorilhon's role in all of this. He is known as Rael to his followers and it's his job to prepare humanity for the arrival of the Elohim on earth. It seems they will come in peace but must be received voluntarily by the human race. So a familiar theme here.

The Elohim purpose for coming to Earth will be to establish a new world government.

This government will only be made up of those whose intelligence is 50% higher than the human average.

To welcome the Elohim the Raelian Religion have to establish an Embassy, preferably in Jerusalem - this doesn't sound too easy to do, to say the least.  But once the Elohim arrive they will promote scientific and technological advancement, creating material prosperity and increased leisure for humans - so they will have an enhanced lifestyle.

There is one added bonus for their arrival. They will offer human beings the prospect of immortality. One snag: this will only be offered to those whose actions merit this. Again a familiar pattern.

There is more to the Raelians than this but that's a brief synopsis as I understand it. But one obvious question I wanted to know was: Who created the Elohim? This is the official answer:

"If we believed in God, we might ask, 'Who created God'. If we believed in evolution and the Big Bang we might ask, "Where did this matter and energy come from that created the big-bang?"

For the Elohim, it is the same - they were created by people coming from the sky as were their creators. It's an infinite cycle of life. One day scientists from earth will also go to another planet and populate it."

I found this answer interesting as it's something similar to what I had been wondering myself in my recent post: A How Did It All Begin Ramble.

Strange how questions get answered, but is this the right answer?

There are videos from The Raelian Movement here.

A How Did It All Begin Ramble

How did it all begin? The creation of the universe

So how did it all begin? The universe and us, that is. Some will say it was all an act of God, a God who is immortal.

Others tell us of the Big Bang. Though Brian Yanny PhD, a research scientist from Illinois, says the Bang may not have been Big at all! His words:

"Current evidence suggests that, far from being 'big', the whole, vast expanse of space and all the visible galaxies and stars originated in a dense sphere of glowing gas much smaller than a pea."

Yes, but, as I was always asking as a kid: Where did the dense sphere of gas come from? Though I used to ask about 'gases'.

As we know life there is a beginning and an end but only God is immortal, well so the Bible says:

1 Timothy 6:16 - "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; who no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power ever lasting."

Okay! So those who say they have seen God must be telling porkies, if they believe in the Bible that is.

I've always felt that all of us, no matter how we actually started, will carry on for eternity but again the Bible disagrees, which must mean there is no Heaven or reincarnation.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing ..."

Ecclesiastes 9:10 "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might, for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."

So that's not too comforting, is it?

Going back to 'where did it all begin'. I suppose it's because we cannot accept that the beginnings came from nothing, even if pea sized, is why mankind began to believe in a God or Gods. It seemed and seems the only answer.

There has to be some sort of everlasting, immortal universal mind. But, as many have said, man also creates God in his own image - as has been the case right from the earliest of civilisations.

So how did it all begin? I'm not sure. Supposing it was by God, what was He doing prior to creating our universe 14 billion years ago? Was He creating other Universes? Or something completely different?

My gosh, there are a lot of questions and I don't think anyone really knows the answers.

Sorry, if today's post is a bit of a ramble. I was just putting a few thoughts together and had no idea where they would lead.

Creation And Destruction Of The Earth

Not sure why I thought about this, but it's strange how in the beginning the earth was created in six days - and God rested on the seventh.  According to Genesis in the Bible, that is.  One problem with this (well, lots really) there wouldn't have been any 'days' until the sun and moon were created.

Also God created light and darkness - day and night - on the first day but, again, there was no sun or moon.

It always interests me how some people take the Bible as being, erm, gospel.

I suppose the argument would be that a day in the beginning wasn't a day as we know it.  It was much, much longer - a period of time. Someone, years ago, who reckoned he knew all about this sort of stuff, said a day was actually a thousand years.  "Why a thousand years?" I asked.  Great rumblings and mutterings and, "Because it was", was the answer.

But everything goes in cycles or periods of time (as we know it). Occultists talk of Cosmic Days, we are supposedly in the fifth - but maybe we are moving into the sixth, and this is what the Maya calender is really all about.

It won't be the end of the earth or mankind, but a new beginning, a shift in consciousness. It would be nice to think so.

According to James Redfield the Mayan calender illustrates a time scale showing the nine Steps of Creation.  It is the ninth step that ends in 2012 - the first step beginning about 16 billion years ago when the universe was created.  All very simplistic.

A more fanciful approach was taken by José Argüelles in The Mayan Factor: Path Beyond Technology. He claims that on August 13, 3113 BC the Earth began a passage through a galactic synchronization beam that emanated from the center of our galaxy, that it would pass through this beam during a period of 5200 tuns (Maya cycles of 360 days each), and that this beam would result in total synchronization and galactic entrainment of individuals plugged into the Earth's electromagnetic battery by December 21, 2012. He believed that the Maya aligned their calendar to correspond to this phenomenon. So there you go.

There's lots of doom and gloom and fanciful stories on the Internet, books on the subject of 2012 abound - well they would be, it's a lucrative market.

I think that Karl Kruszelnicki in Great Moments in Science gets nearest to what I feel will happen on 21 Dec 2012 - a new calender will commence.

Kruszelnicki writes: "…when a calendar comes to the end of a cycle, it just rolls over into the next cycle. In our Western society, every year 31 December is followed, not by the End of the World, but by 1 January. So 13.0.0.0.0 in the Mayan calendar will be followed by 0.0.0.0.1 – or good-ol’ 22 December 2012, with only a few shopping days left to Christmas."

No doubt this isn't as exciting. I feel that man will continue to grow spiritually and will one day go on to inhabit other planets, just as the first settlers of our age travelled to North America, Australia and so on. Hopefully, being of improved consciousness, they will treat any 'natives' they may find on these planets with more respect than we did with the likes of the Native Americans and the Australian Aborigines. Or will it be us that is more 'native' like in comparison?

In the meantime let's try to make this place and time a better place and time for everyone.
