An Alien Visitation Or Just A Dream?

Alien implant in thumb

I'm not sure what to make of the following alien or UFO encounter story sent to me by email. I'll let you decide for yourself.

"I read your recent post about an alien and UFO encounter and wondered if you would be interested in my story, but please do not publish my name or email address.

I live in the Wiltshire (England) area, which seems to be a place for UFO sightings. I remember the first encounter I had when I was a teenager. A small creature with big eyes was in my bedroom. I remember being touched by it and then falling asleep. I woke up hours later with an aching thumb.

A few days after this dream I noticed a black mark under the skin on my thumb. This isn't very clear now, some thirty years later, but it can still be seen. It's in the crease of the thumb on my right hand and is black in colour.

Since that experience I have had another four similar dreams or encounters, the last being in July 2010. On this occasion there appeared to be several small creatures in my bedroom and I felt that I was unable to move. My wife was in the bed next to me but she didn't wake up even though I called out her name.

It then felt as if I was floating and the next thing I realised was that I was lying on a cold bench or table with my hand in some sort of vice like contraption. It didn't hurt but tingled.

The next thing I remember was my wife nudging me saying she wanted a cup of tea. I struggled out of bed and felt very drowsy and my right hand was very shaky.

In the local paper there was a report of UFO sightings in the area that week but the verdict seemed to be that they were only Chinese lanterns.

All of this does seem far fetched. My wife laughs it off as too much cheese or beer before going to bed. Maybe it is my imagination but the experiences feel very different from normal dreams."

A UFO Forced Him Into The Bus Lane - So He Had To Pay A Fine!

UFO in bus lane

Here's an unusual excuse for driving in a Bus Lane.

When police caught him driving in the wrong lane he told them that he was forced to swerve into the Bus Lane to avoid a spaceship that was hurtling towards him. Yes, the old UFO excuse!

He launched an appeal about his fine and said how he would never normally stray into a bus lane, but he had to take avoidance action as the UFO approached him.

His excuse didn't impress the Southwark Council. Officials said that the camera used to record his misdemeanour did not show any UFO. He was therefore fined £120 (about USA $200).

A council spokesman said, "UFOs unfortunately do not count as legitimate reasons for overturning a fine."

Abducted By UFO And Told To Love His Fellow Man

UFO or Fying Saucer

Filiberto Cardenas says being abducted by a UFO made him a better man. Yes, following yesterdays UFO story, today's post is about a claimed abduction.

Cardenas said, "I think my conscious has been heightened. I am more conscious of the people around me, more affectionate and more understanding."

He claims that he was snatched by a dazzling, buzzing strange force. This happened at Okeechobee Road, near Florida's Turnpike Extension. He was dropped off by the UFO 12 miles away on the Tamiami Trail, near 137th Avenue. Three friends witnessed the abduction.

Cardenas then had a second encounter with a flying saucer and this time the aliens revealed several secrets about the future, including a message that asked mankind to love each other. Not sure why they would have revealed this to Filiberto but he continued by saying:

"They spoke to me of a universal love and I have learned from them that this is what I must do - love and help my fellow man. I know that I have obligations, bigger ones."

The encounter has intensified his belief in an omnipotent God. "Since the abduction happened I see God as even bigger than I imagined because I now know that there is a God for other beings on other planets. When you think about it, I find God to be immense."

Looking on Cardenas' wife, Iris, said that his physical and mental energy has increased. She also tells of how he now finds it easier to communicate with others telepathically - an example of this was given.

It seems that on a certain day he noticed he was constantly thinking of his father-in-law. Worried that something could be wrong he left work and began looking for the old man. Driving the car along a side street he found his father-in-law in the middle of the road. His car had broken down.

Of his experiences Cardenas is quoted as saying, "I don't try to convince anybody of this but I think there are a few people who, after meeting me and talking to me, believe what I am saying. Before this happened I had no knowledge of UFOs. I wasn't interested in them. Now I try to read and inform myself as much as I can.

Out of all of the abduction stories floating about the Internet I chose to write about this one because it was reported that on the same day eight animals were found found slaughtered at Newquay Zoo, Cornwall. All had been drained of blood and the corpses were said to have been radio active. I live in Cornwall! There is, otherwise, absolutely no connection between the two stories!

The UFO That Came To Earth At Kecksburg

So many UFO sightings get muddied along the way. Here's a mystery I didn't know much about until I did a little bit of research.

In 1965 something fell from the sky, a brilliant fireball with the flash being seen in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Grass fires broke out, including one just outside Kecksburg, in south-west Pennsylvania as, whatever it was, came to earth.

In Lapper, Mich., the County Sherriff  Kenneth A Parks said his office received a report that an unidentified object fell into a field about half a mile south of Lapeer, just east of M 24.
Source: Herald Journal - Dec 10, 1965

One of the firefighters at the scene was James Romansky.

James Romansky, 57, of Derry Township was then a 19 year old firefighter. He told the Associated Press that he was among those who drove to the landing site.

"Now, I'm prepared for a smashed-up airplane ... and I'm thinking, 'What the hell is this?' I'm looking for wings, propellers, motors, a fuselage - but there's none of that," Romansky said, "There's no rivet marks on it, no windows, no doors - no possible way of getting in and out of this thing that I seen.

"There was writing on it, but not writing that you or I could understand. I always referred to it as something like the ancient hieroglyphics. There was dots and dashes and circles," Romansky said.
Source: Observer Reporter - Dec 6, 2003

Other witnesses described a 'fireball' and a metallic, acorn shaped object about 12 to 15 feet high and 8 to 12 feet in diameter landed in the woods - as per photo at top of post. Military personnel quickly surrounded the site, removed the object, threatened residents who tried to enquire about it, and left - later calling the object 'a meteor'.
Source: Beaver County Times - Dec 7, 2003

Going back to 1965, Sheriff Kenneth A Parks (previously mentioned) only admitted that his men found some pieces of shiny metallic foil, each four to six inches long and about a quarter inch wide.
Source: Spokane Daily Chronicle - Dec 10, 1965

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune - Dec 9, 1965 reported:
U.S. Army officials and the Pennsylvania State Police Thursday night sealed off an area in south-west Pennsylvania explaining the 'is an unidentified flying object in the woods'. A spokesman from the Army's 662 Radar Squadron said, 'We don't know what we have yet.' After sealing off a wooded isolated area at Kecksberg, officers said Army engineers were being called to the scene.

No conclusions can be made from the above - but there is no doubt much more information to be found on the Internet if interested.

UFOs Connecting The Living And The Dead

Pelicans flying in formation
Pelicans flying in formation
Flying saucers - the name that is - has been around since Kenneth Arnold saw nine peculiar aircraft on June 24, 1947. Actually, he didn't give them that name himself. As he explained,

"This young reporter from Pendleton, Ore., asked me how they flew and I said they flew very erratically, they flipped and flashed, like if you took a saucer and threw it across the water. So from that, everybody wrongly assumed they were round instead of crescent shaped."

So Arnold saw crescent shaped UFOs - it's strange therefore, how many people, following his sighting began to see round, saucer shaped, craft - and for a while this became the norm.

Anyhow, in a new book How UFOs Conquered The World the author, David Clarke, tells of how in 1997 a Scottish ufologist, James Easton, suggested these 'saucers' seen by Arnold may not have been alien forces from another planet but rather large pelicans, indigenous to the area.

In the book he writes:

"Being predominately white with black wingtips, these birds [pelicans] have highly reflective bodies that appear to sparkle or flash when spotted in the far distance. And they weren't flying that fast, because they were much closer than Arnold thought and much smaller than flying saucers."

I traced an interview from 1982, where Arnold described his sighting once more:

"They were all individual but they were following each other and the formation had a funny diagonal line, like geese or the tail of a Chinese kite. Some would gain on the others, some would lose a bit. But they were going someplace. They weren't interested in me."

He continued:

"It wasn't an optical illusion. I'm positive any pilot in the same place would have observed the same thing. As far as I'm concerned. I just told things the way they were."

A year following his initial sighting Arnold saw a group of about 24 UFOs when landing his plane at LaGrande, Ore., "... clustered together like a bunch of blackbirds, going fast, little ones only three feet in diameter."

Arnold also said in an interview:

"We've gone to the moon and that's just a stepping stone to other planets. If there is life out there, maybe there are people or life as we recognise it and maybe they'd make the journey here.

"Then there might be two worlds connecting the living and the dead. Maybe you continue living when you die. I can't envision myself on the steps of God, playing a harp with 10 million other souls ... maybe it has something to do with that."

He went on to say about UFOs:

"This type of craft has been seen for hundreds of years so to accuse me of being the discoverer of flying saucers isn't right at all. I just happened to report something substantial enough to be called the modern entry of the fact that we weren't alone."

Whether we believe in UFOs is up to us. I've never seen one myself but have spoken to people who are sure they have - regular normal people. Can they all be misguided, mistaking bird formations and so on for space craft?

An Alien In The Wood

Alien hidden in the woods

Today is a Bank Holiday (Public holiday) in the UK so a quick photo as a post. I saw this alien last week while at Malpas, near Truro in Cornwall. There he was on a pile of logs by the river. I guess he'd settled in there as he had somewhere to hide and access to water. Couldn't see his UFO anywhere though.

Sightings Of Flying Saucers From The 1950s

1950s Flying Saucers

I was having a backwards look at UFOs to when they were known as flying saucers. My time machine stopped at 1950 and this is what was being reported.

What was described as a flying saucer was seen by about 50 persons at Dayton, Ohio, yesterday [March 8 1950].

The strange glittering object was visible to the entire personnel of the Vandalia Airport. A National Guard fighter pilot chased the thing up to 37,000 feet where it disappeared.

Gilley Stevens, chief meteorologist at the field said the 'saucer' must have flown at least 30,000 feet high because he saw it disappear behind some ice clouds which usually form at that altitude.

He reported the object seemed to move erratically at first but that it later remained motionless for as much as 15 minutes at a time.

Source: Daytona Beach Morning Journal - Mar 9, 1950

"Oakland Cal: A 'disc shaped object' roaring at an estimated speed of 1000 to 1500 miles an hour made five 'passes near Hamilton Air Force base early today [June 21 1950]

Three Air Force non-commissioned officers said the 'flying saucer' had a shooting flame and a 'roar like thunder' dived near a beacon just north of the field.

Corp. Roger G Pryor, a control tower operator at the field, said he saw a blue flame shooting out as the saucer flashed by from the south-west and headed north-east. "I thought it was a falling star. But it didn't fall. It just kept going," said Pryor.

Los Angeles: William Grant, 26, former marine corps aerial photographer, reported seeing a brilliant lighted circular object in the sky last midnight.

He estimated the object was 50 feet in circumference and when first seen was about 1,000 feet overhead. Its speed at first was about 100 miles an hour, then increased to about 500 miles an hour before disappearing behind the Hollywood Hills.

"It was in sight about 45 seconds," said Grant. "It left no exhaust trail and made no sound."

His story was confirmed by Gilbert MacGill, president of a firm conducting research with helicopters.

Grant said he had about 900 hours in the air during the war as a photographer and gunner. "I've always been skeptical about flying saucers," he said, "until now."

Those non-existent 'flying saucers' are flitting about district skies again.

No less than five discs have been reported during the past month bringing the total to eight for Western Pennsylvania. Several saucers were seen by groups of people. others were reported by reliable observers.

So far the 'little men' inside have not crawled out.

Not too much detail from the Pittsburg Press above, but they did include a map of recent [1950] sightings as seen below:

Sightings Of UFOs Two Stories High

I was looking through some old newspapers and found two UFO sightings reported. Nothing too unusual in that I suppose, but both stories say the UFO was about two stories high. A coincidence perhaps but I thought I'd publish the reports here. They are from 1980 and 2000.

Source: The Sumter Daily Item Sep 11, 1980

Jerry McAlister, a 40 year old electrician at a textile mill, has been out of work with a broken ankle said he went to the window after hearing a noise and saw the UFO. He awoke his wife, and she awoke one of their children.

The object was about two stories high and had two rows of windows, all so brightly lit that it was impossible to see anything inside.

"It hovered over the same area for about three minutes," he said. "Then it turned on its side and sped off like a streak of lightning at treetop level."

McAlister said that after sighting the object he reported it to the sheriff’s department. A short time later, he said, he heard deputies on his police radio saying they believed the sighting was a prank. He said he called them again and told them to come to his home. Then the deputies saw it.

"It was so bright it could hurt the naked eye," McAllister said, "They apologised to me. We watched it for two hours. Finally it went out of sight."

He told reporters that he nor his wife had ever believed UFOs existed before.

Source: Daily News Jan 10 2000

Millstadt, Mo, Police Officer Craig Stevens saw a UFO. A further three other officers from the Lebanon, Shiloh and Dupo, Mo. police departments also say they saw something in the sky, something that looked like a UFO.

Stevens, sitting in his patrol car in Millstadt on his overnight shift, heard the radio chatter [about UFOs] and drove to the north end of town. He scanned the sky but saw only aircraft lights. Then he looked west.

"Wow," he thought, jumping out of the car, "This thing is huge!"

He said it moved slowly, like a blimp, about 1000 feet off the ground. It was about two stories high and about three times as long. In addition to the three lights in the back, dimmer lights sprinkled the entire surface, almost like a starfield camouflage.

He grabbed his Polaroid camera and snapped a shot. The object was heading toward Dupo, and Stevens radioed dispatch. The dispatcher radioed back, reporting an officer there had spotted it too.

The Polaroid photo didn't develop well, the image only shows three bright lights.

I remember many years ago someone I knew described to me how he had seen a UFO hovering over his house in Dorset. He described it as being massive, the size of his house. But strangely no one else saw it. He wasn't though a man who would make up stories and certainly wouldn't want any publicity.

If you believe in the possibility of UFOs could it be that only some people can actually see them?

I wondered this as there was a time I was leaving a friend's house late at night and I saw this - something or other moving across the sky. My friend's wife could see whatever it was but my friend couldn't. We were saying things like, "But you must be able to see it. Look! There!" but he couldn't.

Thus my question can only certain people see UFOs?

12 Ancient UFO Sightings As Seen On Earth

Ancient UFO sighting
Aerial battle over Nuremberg April 4, 1561
While reading about UFOs, a while back, it stuck in my mind that on New Year's Day in 1254 the monks at St.Albans in England sighted 'a kind of ship flying' in the sky that was 'large, elegantly shaped and of a marvellous colour.' The UFO phenomenon isn't something new.

I thought, for a change therefore, I'd look at a dozen of the UFO visits from the distance past.

1504 BC: This is probably one of the earliest written accounts of a UFO - the following description is an excerpt from an Egyptian papyrus under the reign of Thutmose III.

'In the year 22 ... sixth hour of the day ... the scribes of the House of Life found it was a circle of fire that was coming in the sky ... it had no head, the breath of its mouth had a foul odour. Its body one rod long and one rod wide. It had no voice ... Now after some days had passed, these things became more numerous in the skies than ever. They shone more in the sky than the brightness of the sun and extended to the four supports of the heavens ... Powerful was the position of the fire circles ... It was after supper. Thereupon these fire circles ascended higher in the sky towards the south ... It was ordered by the Pharaoh to be written in the annals of the House of Life ... so that it be remembered for ever.'

500 BC: In the ancient Indian text Samarangana Sartradhara there is a description of piloted flying machines called vimanas. These were powered by some unknown source and they could 'carry death' to anywhere on earth.

216 BC: Julius Obsequens wrote in his book Prodigorium liber of how 'things like ships were seen in the sky over Italy ... At Apri a round shield was seen in the sky. At Capua, the sky was on fire, and one saw figures like ships.'

214 BC: This time in Italy at Hadria 'an altar in the sky' was seen

66 AD: The historian Pliny the Elder tells of a big spark as 'big as the moon' which fell from the sky - and then returned to the heavens. He also told of how 'a burning shield scattering sparks ran across the sky at sunset from east to west.'

584: St. Gregory, the bishop of Tours in France, recorded various sightings in his Historia Francorum. 'There appeared in the sky brilliant rays of light which seemed to cross and collide with one another.' He also described 'golden globes' which flashed at speed across the skies of France.

793: The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle reports, 'In this year terrible portents appeared in Northumbria (England) and miserably afflicted the inhabitants. These were exceptional flashing and lightning and fiery dragons seen flying through the air.'

1170: Roger Niger described 'a wonderfully large dragon' which was 'borne up from earth though the air. The air was kindled into fire by its motion and burned a house, reducing it and its outbuildings to ashes.' This was seen at Osyth, Essex, England.

1180: In Japan something similar to a flying saucer was seen, though they described this as a flying 'earthenware vessel.' The object or UFO was heading in a northeast direction from a mountain in the Kii province. This suddenly changed direction and vanished below the horizon, leaving a luminous trail.

1290: The monks at Byland Abbey in Yorkshire spotted a 'large round silver disk' passing through the skies.

1561: This time the sighting was in Nuremberg in Germany where it was said that there was 'a very frightful spectacle.' During daylight glowing tubes, globes and crosses were seen in the sky and appeared to do battle. This lasted for an hour and some then fell to the earth as 'if on fire.' The image at the top of this post refers to this.

There are many, many other UFO sightings on record from the distant past. We sometimes seem to think of such things as a modern phenomena, probably starting with the Kenneth Arnold flying saucer stories from 1947. But very little in life is actually new - much has already been seen or experienced previously by past generations.

The UFO Timetable And The Melting Man

41 years ago The Pittsburg Press published a factual report on UFO sightings. I wonder if it's still relevant today. Here are the highlights:

For some odd reason, UFOs follow a timetable.

In Holland, Dutch statisticians have found that Mondays produce the greatest number of UFO reports. A survey of 800 reports in Belgium has disclosed that the largest percentage of sightings in that country take place on Tuesdays.

In the United States Wednesdays generate more UFO reports than any other day.

Sightings in all countries tend to concentrate around the 10th and 21st of the month. But the two days that produce the most sightings of all are June 24 and September 24, and this 'coincidence' is true for many of the years since 1896. [The Kenneth Arnold UFO sighting of 1947 was on June 24]

Thousands of Landings

There have been thousands of UFO sightings reported all over the world. Dr. Jacques Vallee, a French statistician, has catalogued 923 landing reports between 1868 and 168.

The creatures alleged to have emerged from the objects represent a menagerie of monsters - from 20-foot giants to tiny bearded characters only a few inches tall, From hairy creatures with glowing red eyes to animated tin cans.

England's Flying Saucer Review has been following the situation since 1955, and has compiled a massive file of worldwide landings.

Aside from the incredible bug-eyed monsters, the most commonly described UFO pilot is a being with long hair dressed in a seamless silver suit. He has oriental eyes, thin lips, an olive complexion and has unusually long fingers. Entities with these characteristics have been seen at one time or another in almost every country.

In innumerable cases, hysterical witnesses have claimed they were taken aboard saucer-shaped vehicles and given some kind of medical examination.

Apparently mysterious lights the aliens used, emit ultraviolet radiation. There are many documented cases in which witnesses suffered burns, similar to sunburn, after exposure to one of the objects.

The strangest injury of all occurred in the village of Araรงariguama, Brazil, in 1946. According to Dr Irineu Jose Da Silverira, Joao Prestes Filho, 40, was struck by a mysterious beam of light (definitely not lightning).

Within hours, in frnt of a clustered horrified neighbours and relatives, his body began to deteriorate and his "flesh started to look as though it had been vooked for many hours in boiling water."

The Incredible Melting Man
He did not lose consciousness and did not appear to feel any pain as lumps of flesh dropped from his body. His nose and ears fell off, the witnesses claimed. He died en route to a hospital.

There are other incidents in which witmesses have died shortly after a close encounter with one of the objects, apparently killed by radiation poisoning.

Until recently cases of this sort were rarely circulated beyond the pages of the UFO journals.

The Message Of The Silpho Flying Saucer

Silpho Saucer

The Silpho Saucer was first reported by the Yorkshire Post back in 1957 (on December 9th to be precise) but it remains a mystery as, to my knowledge, it has never been proven to be a hoax.

The story is that a small flying saucer was found on November the 21st, 1957. It was metallic in appearance, measured 18 inches across and weighed about 35lbs. It was discovered on moorland between Silpho and Hackness in Yorkshire, England.

It was found by three friends. While driving in a car they spotted a red, glowing object which raised their curiosity.  As it was night time they went to to fetch a torch so they could investigate what they had seen. When they returned they saw, what they described as, a mysterious man and woman walking away from the area.

Who were these friends? Various names have been bandied about, the most popular being: Fred Taylor, Frank Dickenson and either Charles Thomas or Frank Hutton.

The story went cold until an anonymous person claimed to have the saucer in their possession. It is said that when the saucer was forced open it contained 17 thin copper sheets, in an almost book format inside. These were imprinted with symbols. Eventually, I'm not sure how, these were translated and the message started off by saying,

"My name is Ulo and I write this message to you my Friends on the Planet of the Sun you call Earth." This was followed by a woman called Tarngee writing something more akin to a penfriend letter, rather than anything serious. When Ulo signs off the message he mentions how Tarngee has won prize for face and body - most odd.

One version of the source of the saucer is that it was dropped to Earth by a spaceship from Mercury.

So the message is basically of little value but maybe the spaceship was just passing by and a couple of the occupants dropped off the saucer as a bit of a laugh - well, it's possible. I'm sure that some aliens may have a sense of humour.

One aspect of the message though was more serious: a warning to humanity about the threat of atomic warfare. It's interesting that the CND, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, started in 1957. Here's what was said by Ulo and Tarngee:

"The bombs which the two main powers made when exploded will destroy most animal life on Earth and to make it not for long habit by survivors. Any small argument may result in in full war then one side after long war will wish to finish it and use atomic bombs."

So can any of this be true? Goodness knows! It's interesting though that the Yorkshire Post revisited the story in June of 2007, fifty years after they first got their scoop in 1957.

I wasn't able to get sight of the 1957 Yorkshire Post where they are said to have published photos of the saucer. I'm told though that the photos have been removed from the archives.

Harry Challenger, once quoted as being the editor of the Flying Saucer Review, has been quoted as saying: "The Silpho disc, like the Roswell Incident, appears to be a signal or a wakening call, although we cannot be certain from whom. There is the enigma that this object has gone missing, and it has never been authenticated. But if it had been, it could have given clear and tangible evidence that something is out there."

Like so many UFO stories the waters get muddied:

It has since been reported - though not confirmed by any government body - that the saucer was in fact one of a batch of secret surveillance air vehicles, code named PF228. Three of those launched went astray, two falling into the sea  and the other was lost somewhere over northern Britain. It seems that these PF228's were made to look like flying saucers so, if they were ever found by the public, who the heck would believe them?

To finish with, a pdf I found which gives a version of the Silpho Saucer message in full, can be seen here.

He Felt Dirty After Being With The Aliens

Inside an alien UFO or craft

Bill Herrmann claims that he was carried on a tubular beam of blue-green light into a flying saucer, this was on March 18, 1978. He was then examined by aliens from another star system and afterwards dropped off, terrified, in a field several miles from home.

About a year later he obeyed a telepathic summons from the same humanoid creatures and met the craft for another trip up the blue-green beam and into space.

Herrmann has been hypnotised several times to help him remember his experience.

He first saw the saucers or UFOs in late 1977, but in March 1978 he watched a metal disc, about 60 feet in diameter, as it manouvered near his home north-west of Charleton, USA.

Herrmann told the Herald-Journal in 1981:

"It [the flying saucer] dropped abruptly from the sky. Suddenly it was right in front of me. I fell backward. The next thing I knew there was light all round me, green and blue, and I felt myself being tugged upward.

I couldn't remember anything. I didn't know where I was. A terrible fear came over me and I stood weeping for what seemed a long time. I felt dirty. I felt like I can't describe it. I felt like I had been around something I shouldn't have been around."

Under hypnosis he recalled an examining table within the flying saucer, also flashing lights and creatures who looked like human fetuses with enlarged heads and eyes. They had spongy white skin and wore rust coloured jumpsuits. They were about 4.5 feet tall.

Herrmann also tells of a further visitation. On April 21 1979 he claims a pair of aliens materialised briefly in his home. Then on May 16th he saw the spacecraft again from his home and received a telepathic message that he was to meet them at a nearby industrial estate.

Once at the rendezvous a blue-green tube of light again carried him inside the craft and he found himself on the examining table. Herrmann said of this, "I felt repelled by their appearance. But I felt inferior in their presense."

The aliens/occupants of the craft told him that they were from a world near twin stars, more than 30 light years away, where their entire civilisation was devoted to interstellar exploration.

Herrmann claims the saucer/craft travelled to Florida. Here they whizzed him past the Kennedy Centre and showed delight at the primitive vehicles on the ground.

He went on to say that the aliens told him that Earth governments had resisted attempts at friendly contact, but they insisted they meant no harm and their purpose would eventually be made clear.

And that is Herrmann's story. Below is a YouTube video of one of his hypnotic regressions. It's quite lengthy.

An Alien Encounter Where A Strange Object Was Implanted Inside Him

UFO

This is a alien sighting and abduction story seen in the archives of The Daily Gazette. It goes back a while but it seems that the person involved, Richard L.Price, would still like to find out who the creatures were that abducted him when a child and implanted a strange object inside him.

Price said, "I've felt over the years, that they've been with me - that they're with me all the time."

This is his story:

When he was eight years old he and a friend were walking near the railroad tracks in Troy. On hearing a noise, which sounded similar to a train approaching, they headed into a wooded area. The friend decided to turn back so Price was then alone.

He continued walking near a cemetery and a covered bridge. This is where the encounter happened.

At first he was scared. He said, "When I got a look at them, I turned and ran. Then all of a sudden, as if they did something to me, I stopped and wasn't afraid any more."

The aliens communicated with him, "You are coming with us."

They took him to their spacecraft. It was an oval shape with six sides on top and on the bottom. There were pedestals coming out of the bottom for landing, similar to those seen in old science fiction stories.

He described the aliens as being between 4 and 5 feet tall with grey-pink complexions and they wore suits of red and blue together with helmets.

Price was taken into the craft and shown what he describes as a movie, only it felt to him as if he was part of the film. Amongst other things the movie showed a battle in space, where another craft was blown up by using beams of light which the spaceships were aiming at each other.

He was then taken into another room and had to remove all of his clothes for an examination. A scanning like device was used over his body. At one point the scanner stopped and burned his leg but he didn't feel any pain. Another instrument was passed over his leg and it was healed straight away.

Next came his implant. A hand held instrument was used to implant a tiny object under the skin of his penis. He was told not to tamper with it. He was then released to go home.

He didn't tell anyone about what had happened.

As he got older and attended High School, however, he mentioned what had happened to a girlfriend. His encounter and the story soon spread around his classmates.

The news also got out to his parents and other adults and Price was sent for psychological tests and was confined to a psychiatric hospital for three months. He was only released when he told the doctors he had made up the story. This was the only way they would free him.

In the early 1980s Price saw a physician, Neal Rzepkowski, who confirmed there was an object under the skin of Price's penis, that did not belong there. Rzepkowski told him not to disturb it as it wasn't infected or causing him discomfort.

The physician told The Daily Gazette, "... He appears normal. Who knows? It might be true."

In 1989, however, the implanted object suddenly popped out. Price said he was scared, "I thought I was a goner. I thought I was going to die." He had somehow convinced himself that the implanted object had kept him healthy.

Bug
He claims he looked at the item through a magnifying glass and saw something crawl away from it, and is convinced it was an alien bug.

As for the object itself an identified physicist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology was given half but has yet to identify it. All the physicist would tell the Gazette was that the object was made up of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen and was therefore organic or biological.

And that is the Richard L.Price story.

A Genuine UFO Sighting: What Do You Think?

I saw this video on Trish & Rob MacGregor's blog synchrosecrets and, yes, it is another UFO sighting but somehow this has an element of truth about it - see what you think.

The sighting dates back to October 1954 and was by a Jessie Rosenberg from the West Midlands in England. The story is that it was banned from being aired on UK television in the late 1960s. Mrs Rosenberg describes what she and her two sons witnessed.

Mysterious Black Circle UFO Seen In The Sky

Taken from the video below and enlarged
Here's something strange: a black ring or halo in the sky. Have no idea what it actually is /was. The very short video below shows it in more detail.

The video was taken by 16 year old schoolgirl Georgina Heap. She was playing tennis with her mother, in Leamington Spa, England when she looked up into the sky and saw this enormous black ring with a smoke like appearance. The ring remained in the sky for about three minutes on Friday evening and then simply disappeared.

Georgina said of her sighting, "It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It was just floating there like a cloud and then it disappeared. It wasn't birds. There were about ten of us who stopped what we were doing and watched."

On an official note the Fire and Rescue Service have said that there were no reports of fires around that time and the Met Office have confirmed that it does not believe the ring was weather-related.

So what was it?

British Holiday Aircraft Misses UFO By Only A Few Feet

Plane near miss with UFO

This is a UFO sighting I hadn't previously heard about, but an official investigation on the sighting has now been carried out.

On July 19th 2013, flight TCX24HX, took off from Ibiza. The plane was owned by the Thomas Cook travel company and the registration number was G-KKAZ. It was heading for Manchester airport, England.

As the aircraft was travelling over Reading, England it experienced, what has been described as a 'near miss'. The captain physically ducked as a cigar / rugby ball shaped craft - which appeared to be silver in colour and of a metallic substance - came within feet of the Thomas Cook plane.

According to The Telegraph website: "The captain said he spotted the object travelling towards the jet out of a left hand side, cockpit window, apparently heading directly for it. He said there was no time to for the aircrew to take evasive action. He told investigators he was certain the object was going to crash into his aircraft and ducked as it headed towards him."

A report into the incident tells of how the captain "was under the apprehension that they were on collision course with no time to react. His immediate reaction was to duck to the right and reach over to alert the FO [First Officer]; there was no time to talk to alert him ... [the captain] was fully expecting to experience some kind of impact with a conflicting aircraft" and said it was "within a few feet" above the jet.

It's worth mentioning that this near miss was at 6.35pm on a summer's day and therefore in daylight, and at an altitude of 34,000 feet.

So, what was the conclusion of the investigation? Would you believe it "wasn't possible to trace the object or determine the likely cause of the sighting."

According to The Telegraph the investigation checked data recordings to establish what other aircraft were in the area at the time, but eliminated them all from its quest to find out what had been responsible. It also ruled out meteorological balloons, after checking none were released in the vicinity. Toy balloons were also discounted, as they are not large enough to reach such heights. Military radar operators were also contacted but were unable to trace the reported object.

This wasn't a one off incident though because in 1995, the Civil Aviation Authority conducted an intense investigation when the captain of a passenger aircraft - again coming into land at Manchester Airport - nearly collided with a dark, wedge shaped object that was so close that the first officer also instinctively ducked.

What were these 'near misses'? Do you think the authorities really couldn't 'determine the likely cause of the sighting.'? Strange, when the National Air Traffic Control Services admit that staff detect around one unexplained flying object every month.

There must be something out there - even if it's earthbound. Surely, whatever it is, isn't being covered up? No, that's silly ...

The Synchronicity Of Thinking Outside The Box With UFOs

I wrote this post a couple of weeks back after I had just finished reading Trish and Rob's book The Synchronicity Highway.

Chapter 12 is called Remote Views: Connecting With Joe McMoneagle. This is all about an interview the authors had with McMoneagle. For those who may not know Wikipedia describes him as follows:

"Joseph McMoneagle was involved in remote viewing experiments conducted by U.S Army Intelligence and the Stanford Research Institute. He was one of the original officers recruited for the top-secret program now known as the Stargate Project. Along with Ingo Swann, McMoneagle is best known for claims surrounding the investigation of remote viewing and the use of paranormal abilities for military intelligence gathering."

One of the questions Trish and Rob asked McMoneagle was whether he had ever seen any alien entities or the inside of a [UFO]craft with the use of remote viewing. He replied that he had and to quote from The Synchromicity Highway:

"When I was first started viewing these targets, I kept getting the same thing over and over again. It looked like the old hippie peace sign a large 'Y' inside a circle. Only the circle was missing. So it looked like and equilateral 'Y' with angles all the same."

This seemed to have puzzled him but then he had what he describes as an, "... epiphany ... The 'Y' is the inside or outside of an empty box." And this is from where my coincidence or synchronicity happened.

DPD van

I realised I had to go out, so put the book to one side but was pondering the 'Y' and the 'box' while I went out of my front door. And there parked outside my house was a DPD van with the outline of a 'box' and therefore the 'Y' as well as the company logo. The parcel wasn't for us but for a neighbour but it made me smile that I was looking at the very thing I was thinking about.

But that is the world of synchronicity for you.

As McMoneagle continued to say in his interview with Trish and Rob, "Once in a while I've been able to peek behind those boxes, and to see things I'm sure they do not expect me to see."

And again isn't that the world of synchronicity? Sometimes it allows us to see things we maybe wouldn't otherwise notice or pay attention to. And this perhaps gets us thinking outside the box.
