As it's Sunday, something different, a video for you to listen to. It was created by my Google+ friend Ann Kennedy. The song / poem is sung by her friend Matthew Wilson. All of the photos in the video have been taken by Ann. I think it's lovely - so, if you have time, please have a listen.
I wonder how many times we have said to someone, "If I had known ..."
I was checking my Google+ page as I had just published a photo of a duck on a lake - not absolutely sure why, but it's a decent photo I took a while back.
But then I noticed a Google+ member with the name Cat Lake, so I had this bizarre picture in my head of a cat chasing 'my' duck across a lake. So ...
I thought I'd better go to Cat Lake's page out of curiosity. I saw she had published a video called Driver 67 - Car 67. I took a listen, quite liked it, and that's how the following video ended up on 67 Not Out.
No great coincidence or meaning with any of this but life can turn up a few surprises now and again if we follow our ... noses? ... instinct? ... intuition? ...
Today, a video of an interview by Hits Dhanak with my blogging friends Trish & Rob MacGregor. In this they talk about the remote viewing of Aliens on Mars, the Bermuda Triangle and inter-dimensional portals.
Trish and Rob have a blog synchrosecrets and are authors of many books including The Synchronicity Highway and Aliens In The Back Yard.
Whatever next! The video below brought a tear to my eye - and it's actually an advert! You may have already watched it as it has been seen by many, many people on YouTube but, for me, it was the first time.
The video is titled the Unsung Hero but it could equally be called Unconditional Love.
It reminded me of a post I published way back in June 2011, Circles Of Goodness Can Change The World. This was basically about how we can all do something to make the world a better place for everyone - by starting in a very small way. As the 14th Dalai Lama suggested change is created within ourselves:
"The question of real, lasting world peace concerns human beings, so basic human feelings are also at its roots. Through inner peace, genuine world peace can be achieved.
In this the importance of individual responsibility is quite clear; an atmosphere of peace must first be created within ourselves, then gradually expanded to include our families, our communities, and ultimately the whole planet."
In other words we can all start to change the world - and not just for peace.
Enough of the pre-amble, here's the video, it's only slightly over four minutes long.
It's strange how this post came about. I wrote it on Easter Sunday when I had an hour to spare before going out somewhere. I had no idea what to write so I did a couple of other things first.
I went to Pinterest where I sometimes try to promote my blog and found that, since I had been on the site previously, 67 people had re-pinned some of my photos.
I then went to ping my blog and the number I had to feed in was 7767. As I have often mentioned 67 and 76 have been 'special' numbers in my life.
After seeing these numbers I thought that I was bound to come up with something for a post. I had a feeling I should go to YouTube and somehow, out of the blue, found the Unsung Hero video. It was meant to be!
Here's something strange: a black ring or halo in the sky. Have no idea what it actually is /was. The very short video below shows it in more detail.
The video was taken by 16 year old schoolgirl Georgina Heap. She was playing tennis with her mother, in Leamington Spa, England when she looked up into the sky and saw this enormous black ring with a smoke like appearance. The ring remained in the sky for about three minutes on Friday evening and then simply disappeared.
Georgina said of her sighting, "It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It was just floating there like a cloud and then it disappeared. It wasn't birds. There were about ten of us who stopped what we were doing and watched."
On an official note the Fire and Rescue Service have said that there were no reports of fires around that time and the Met Office have confirmed that it does not believe the ring was weather-related.

I've heard of Shadow People and the likes of the Mothman but a Stick Man or a Black Stick Man might be stretching things a touch too far. But, there again, it's often said that anything is possible.
Here's a story / experience that JC sent, thinking it might appeal to me. This supposedly happened to a friend of his. Here we go:
"It was very late at night and me and the girlfriend, Liz, were walking home from a club in the Greater London area. There's a park with lots of trees that is usually closed at night but was open for some reason, so we walked through the gate as it would be a short cut to home.
It was very dark but there was a proper path to follow with trees and bushes either side. We hadn't been through the gate for more than a minute when Liz said, "Did you see that?"
I had seen something that appeared to move ahead of us. The moon was out so I thought it was trees blowing in the wind and making reflections.
"It looks like someone is coming towards us," said Liz holding my arm more tightly.
Whatever it was kept on coming. I could see it, a tall thin man but very skinny. It got taller as it got nearer to us and I started feeling a little scared.
"What the hell is it?" Liz whispered.
I can only describe it as being like a stick man that kids draw. It was black, completely black and was wearing no clothes. It's face was blank except what appeared to be an opening something like a round mouth.
Liz was freaked out but the stick man bounced by us like some sort of cartoon character. It's head turned slightly towards us but it kept on walking, its long, thin legs and arms waving about as it passed.
We started to run. I turned round and the creature had gone but we hurried out of the far gate and kept walking fast until we got home.
We were both scared and locked the door of our flat. I don't know what it was but we weren't on drugs or anything."
A stick man! Has to be something to take with a pinch of salt surely.
I did a Google search and there's quite a bit about the Black Stick Man. On the Listverse website, for example, they have a post Top 10 Bizarre Modern Paranormal Phenomena and at number 3 is - yes, the Black Stick Man!
They describe this 'Paranormal Phenomena' as being:
" ... totally black, thin, stick figure drawings, such as teachers would make in kindergarten. They have been reported as between average height to impossibly tall. Their heads are just a black circle with no facial features being discernible. They are totally two dimensional, without any depth. Usually they’ve been sighted walking along roads at night, or at transitional times such as twilight or just before dawn."
Looking through the comments on the Listverse post there's one from Simon Howes, written two years ago. He wrote this about his experience:
"In 1982, when I was a student nurse at Warley Hospital, Brentwood in Essex, England, I encountered a 'stick person' in the grounds of the Hospital as I was walking home one night. It lopped across the roadway having been, seemingly, pressed up against a wall. It stopped when it saw me and raised it's arms in fright and quickly walked off into the undergrowth. It was very tall with very thin, extremely long arms and legs and a very small oval head. Totally black and no obvious clothing. I saw no face even though it emerged very near a street lamp and so was well illuminated. I was terrified and to this day, no-one believes me."
Then on the Above Top Secret forum there's this strange picture, which is said to have come from a "Spanish anonymous image board". Here's the photo.
So, I thought I'd have a look on YouTube to see what I could find and this is what I came up with. The scene is in Russia and a stick man like thing can be seen climbing down the apartment building. Only they now call 'him' a Slender Man.
With my pinch of salt still at the ready I did a Slender Man Google search. The first entry is Wikipedia and it does seem that Slender Man is fiction (but this doesn't mean that Black Stick Man also is). This is what they write:
"The Slender Man (also known as Slenderman) is a fictional character that originated as an Internet meme created by Something Awful forums user Victor Surge in 2009. It is depicted as resembling a thin, unnaturally tall man with a blank and usually featureless face, and wearing a black suit. The Slender Man is commonly said to stalk, abduct, or traumatize people, particularly children. The Slender Man is not tied to any particular story, but appears in many disparate works of fiction, mostly composed online."
Going back to the photo of the Black Stick Man I found on the Above Top Secret forum. I thought the following may have been significant because it had the number 67 on the entry!
This is the story:
"Yesterday at 20.30 hrs. just when I was about to leave the office I heard a very strange sharp buzz that came from the outside that made me look to the outside to see what it was about. When I looked in the direction the sound came from I saw a long and very thin shadow with a copper color that after a while of not moving it started walking towards the light.
It was in that moment that I got very scared because I could see clearly that it was not a normal person. It had no face and its body looked like a stick made of one piece. I went looking for my cell phone camera to take a picture of it and to my surprise, when I came back, that thing was higher than the wall of the building and it kept growing and stretching until it reached the second floor windows of the neighboring building. It suddenly jumped up the walls and began to climb up to the roof where I lost sight of it. I kept hearing the buzz for some more seconds until it disappeared completely. I was able to take pictures of it. I have spent the whole night thinking about it but I have no idea what could that be."
There we go. It's easy to chuckle about the likes of real Stick Men roaming the shadows at night - but how often does 'reality' follow fiction? Quite a bit.
This recent video tells the story of Brian Miller and his Near Death Experience (NDE). It's not one of the best but it's another case of where a person is told that he still has 'things' to do before he can move on.
Following on from yesterday's post here is the second photo in my taking a photo every day exercise.
This is from Sunday. We looked out of the windows and it was grim: grey sky, rain in the air and it didn't look inviting. "Let's go out anyway," I said, "Lets go to the beach."
Without too much confidence we headed to Carlyon Bay, Cornwall and as we pulled into the free car park the sky cleared as if by magic. There was virtually no one else about as we walked along the beach.
It had been a rough night weather-wise and there was a line of debris with bits and pieces the high tide had washed in - but closer to the sea it was clear as my footprints show on the damp sand.
We enjoyed the walk, though it was quite cold, and picked up pebbles and shells and searched the debris for treasure.
Afterwards we returned home. For some reason I went in Karin's sewing room and noticed she had just put up the old Footprints story on the wall which someone had given her.
This is how it goes, I'm sure you will have seen it before but it ties in with my photo.
Footprints
One night I had a dream.
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with God and across the sky flashed scenes of my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonged to me and the other to God.
When the last scene of my life flashed before us I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of my life. This really bothered me and I questioned God about it.
"God, you said once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way but I noticed that during the most troublesome time in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why in times when I needed you most, you would leave me."
God replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you."

And then on the radio what do we hear - Footprints in the Sand by Leona Lewis, which must be one of her best recordings. Here's the video.
Sometimes the pieces just seem to fit together. And to think we might have missed all of this if we had stayed indoors. It's so easy to sit back and miss out on life.
Kim Wilde the pop star, turned gardener, turned pop star has been promoting her new album Wilde Winter Songbook. Her big hit was Kids in America back in 1981 and her version of You Keep Me Hangin' On went to No 1 in America in 1987. This isn't a music or celebrity blog but Kim has been saying that she is quite psychic - which is a theme sometimes on 67 Not Out.
For example she tells how ...
"I always had this strong sense of where my destiny lay, that I was going to be a singer. Not because my dad was Marty Wilde, it was just an absolute truth that I lived with from a very young age. Maybe a part of me was quite psychic, because we have strong psychics in my family, especially on my father's side."
When asked if there is anything else she predicted she answered ...
"I am tuned into it, a little bit. I don't see ghosts and stuff, but I did see something very unusual in the sky once, which I can only say was a UFO. But there were lots of witnesses, it was in the local paper, it wasn't just me.
"It was on the 26th of June, the day after Michael Jackson died, and me and my mate were in the garden and we saw bright lights in the sky. I have to say there's not a day gone by that I don't think about what the hell it was. It was so huge, two of them, going zigzag for 10 minutes and I could feel the momentum and I knew it was really massive. It could be some very clever thing that someone developed somewhere, but I've got a feeling it wasn't."
Maybe nothing fantastic in her quotes but, for me, the fact that she felt she knew where her destiny lay is as interesting as her UFO sighting. This is something I've never personally had - a distinct unshakeable direction in life. I wish I did but as my Australian blogging friend Darren says, everything we do is "one big mind-boggling ripple effect if you really think about it."
So even though many of us may not have a clear direction in life we are still influencing the people we meet and make contact with whether we realise this or not. Whose to judge that our purpose is any less important than some power driven politician or pop star.
I was looking at some foreign language websites and came across these recent 'UFO' sightings. The above photo was taken in Temuco, southern Chile and has been described dramatically as a UFO Squadron or maybe it's simply something entering the earth's atmosphere and burning up.
The Chile reference made me remember when I was a student and worked in a television and radio shop.
The 'super smooth salesman' was trying to sell a radio to a pretty young woman and told her how it would receive hundreds of radio stations and - if she sat by an open window - she would even get Chile. No idea why I thought of that!

And on a Romanian website Gandul I found a photo someone spotted on NASA's website.

I found the video below on Inga's Google+ page - and the song Dumb Ways to Die is going over and over in my head now!
It's interesting how Inga first saw the video herself, she writes, "I learned about its existence all because a Russian designer's web site was closed by our authorities for containing the video. Things in Russia are getting curiouser and curiouser."
The 3 minute video is on YouTube but Inga now says, "By the way, I can't view the video on YouTube any more." She added, "Strangely (and luckily) I can still view it on Google+. Obviously the ban doesn't apply to Russian users of international social networks like Google+"
Interesting, isn't it, how almost innocuous things are censored on the Internet in some parts of the world. Dumb Ways to Die is actually part of a train safety campaign by Melbourne Metro Trains in Australia.
It was a bit of a sync or coincidence that I came by the video. I'd just finished writing the snow post and straight away afterwards found this on Darren's blog Just Watching the Wheels Go Round. He is recommending everyone to give it a thumbs up. See what you think, I like it and it would be good to give some publicity to the musicians.

And also I saw the following on Pinterest. It's nothing to do with snow but it's a coincidence story of sorts. I can't vouch that it's true but, who knows ..
I came across this video from the latter part of last year. It's about a respected UK sports journalist Mike Sewell's sighting of a UFO. He was so freaked out by this he phoned the BBC's Radio 5 station to tell presenter Nicky Campbell what he saw live on air. Campbell's is a sceptic but the video of the incident sounds genuine enough.
If you listen to the video you will hear Mike Sewell say:
"I was probably about 15 or 20 miles from Stansted at 4.15 in the morning and there was this big bright light in the sky descending towards the road.
As it got closer it then banked to the left, and as it banked to the left and went across the countryside I could see underneath it.
It wasn't an aeroplane, and it wasn't a helicopter. Certainly of a kind of - and I dread saying this - disc shape. It had several lights flashing all around it.
Underneath there were at least two large panel lights, soft white lights, and then it just sat or circled a certain area above the field for a few moments.
I was so gobsmacked, I was trying to negotiate the road, which was a small country lane. Eventually I dropped down and lost sight of it but certainly for two or three minutes I saw what, I think, was not a normal aeroplane.'
I was wide awake and I'm of sound mind. I was completely freaked out by it. This was a long way from Stanstead airport - at least 15 miles - and the aircraft was going westerly rather than easterly towards Stansted.
It was not the shape of a normal aircraft it was a big disc, round-shaped craft and it didn't leave.
I watched it for two or three minutes before I eventually lost sight of it. I decided to go back again through the village. It's a very quiet area and I've spoken to someone who knows it very well and they said there's no military installations in that area so I would be intrigued to hear if anybody else saw it."

At the time the reported UFO sighting created a lot of interest. So much so that other people reported their own UFO sightings as well. Here's a few examples:
"In 1974 I and my friends saw a large UFO at about 07:00am, it was bright and sunny when this very long object appeared flying low, it seemed to be following the power lines between three pylons, as it got near we could see that it was as big as a 747, it stopped and hovered at about 60 feet above the ground, and about 50 yards in front of us, it stayed like that for about 2 minutes, then suddenly accelerated upwards at an enormous speed and disapeared from view. What was erie about this object was that NO sound came from it, even when it sped off at a great speed! I phoned the Norwegian air force and told them about this UFO, and two weeks later an officer of the Norwegian air force and a civilian payed me a visit at home. They told me that I had not seen anything, and that I must stop telling people that I had seen anything, but I and my friends had seen it!" ~ SI Mather, Bradwell, UK
"I saw one fly over the back of our house about 8 years ago late at night, it was really low in the sky, lit up like a christmas tree and made almost no sound, just a sound like the wind, it was a still clear night. It flew off into the distance and two other distant lights flew up to it and off they went. I thought it might be a stealth bomber (there's an RAF base not far away) but this was bigger than any aircraft I've ever seen." ~ Gav, Wolverhampton, England
"Saw one of these disc shaped craft 14 years ago in broad daylight in Essex. No doubt It wasn't any conventional blimp, balloon, helicopter or aircraft due to shape and performance. If it is another species, I'm sure they are just researching the planet and our development. There's nothing that we can do about it but it's just fascinating there is something else out there. If it's just a type of experimental craft I'd be blown away. Really would a powerful enough nation produce such a thing to keep knocking out conventional jet aircraft." ~ Ben, Cambridge
"In 1982 I was standing in a field in the Wirral about 1am, having a smoke, while my partner packed away the equipment from a disco in the nearby village hall. I saw exactly what this guy saw and the odd thing was that there was absolutely no sound. One minute this object was far to my left and in seconds it was far to my right, then it just vanished. I was completly sober and have never been able to explain it. At the far end of the field were half a dozen horses and they were standing quietly until this thing appeared and when it did they ran around in circles and made a horrendous baying noise." ~ Jeannie, Deeside
"Imagine how freaked out you'd be if you saw one in the flesh....hmm well it happened to me. I'm not mad, crazy or delusional, I dont take drugs, I'm not on prescription medicine either. I saw this thing in my room, it was smallish but crouching, it had no hair at all, on its body or head. It was brownish-grey in colour, age spots on its skin. It had large, yellowish eyes with black pupils. They eyes were rounded though. It had a small nose and a slit like mouth. I distinctly remember it staring at me and pointing at me. Obviously I didn't sit and stare back at it, I ran out the room, totally freaked out. Never seen one in the flesh again although I've had feelings and went outside and saw a craft. Twice it happened. It made no sound, was fast moving, amber light. Absolutely no one believes me about the alien but I swear its all true, I have no reason to make it up." ~ Jess, UK
"Haydock, Lancashire, Friday 13th May 1977, approximately 10.30pm. It was a clear night. I know this for certain, as it was the day I left school. I was stood with quite a few friends on a street corner, when one of the lads said - "Has anyone noticed that bright light in the sky?" We all looked up to see this bright light hovering above us, high in the sky. At first, it was quite still, so the lad who had pointed it out started to get laughed at. He said; "Just watch it for a minute and you'll see what I mean". So, we did. All of a sudden it started to move very slowly, then it would move fast, then it would move in a zigzag, then it would whizz across the sky and stop suddenly, then start all over again. We must have watched this going on for about fifteen minutes, when all of a sudden, it just whizzed off out of sight, the speed of which I have never seen before, or since. Space Ship - Who knows? "My UFO story, for what it's worth, is that my mother phoned me up in great excitement many years ago and told me that her neighbours in our village (in the North East of England) had been awakened in the middle of the night by dazzling blue lights shining into their bedroom windows, and when they looked outside they saw that these lights were coming from a big, disc-shaped UFO which had landed in the farmer's field outside. After sitting there for a while it rose up silently into the air and flew off across the valley. There was a huge round patch left on the grass where it had been sitting. My parents didn't waken, as they had the curtains drawn. But she got the story from a very down-to-earth, no-nonsense lady who said she definitely had seen it. I was furious that I hadn't been there at the time, I'd love to see something like that with my own eyes!" ~ Susan, Manchester
"These UFOs are very real. At the end of 1999 I watched two of them hovering over the M62 near Brighouse. They were big round/oval lights. After a few minutes they were flying towards the house (heading in the direction of Leeds) so I went outside for a better look. One of them flew right over my head but really slowly. No noise, no wind, no visible infratructure, no winking lights. All I could see was just a HUGE area of soft light. It was so big I couldn't see the perimeter of it. Pictures were in the Yorkshire Post the following day but they didn't show what I saw! When you take a pic of light, that 's all you get. Not the huge noiseless thing the flew so low over my head I could almost have reached it. I wasn't afraid but I want to know what they are and where they come from. It's annoying that Government never comments!!!!!" ~ Rosy Knight, Sheffield UK
Obviously there are lots of people who do not believe in UFOs, aliens and so on. Each to their own opinions but surely all of the reports aren't fictitious. Some probably are but with the sheer weight of numbers some must be true. People have definitely seen something that governments will not admit to.
I have now come across a YouTube video of the same story and actually featuring the people involved i.e. the two Laura Buxtons and their families. Stories like this are always knocked and the skeptics have a field day - even though they are true. One wrote: "... this solitary, lofty balloon would set in motion a chain of events so strange, it's even difficult for those involved to believe. Of course it's strange and difficult to believe ... because it's complete bullsh*t."
There are those who refuse to accept such things, but that's fine. Anyway, here's the video (less than 3 minutes long), plus please read my original posts if you haven't done so.
A 4 minute video I came across and liked because it features Glastonbury Tor in England, where I like to visit. The area is sometimes mentioned as being one of the Earth's energy centers. The music is very pleasant and magical too.
As this is a Christian time of the year I thought this video about Delia Knox would be appropriate.
Delia had been paralysed from the waist down following a severe car accident back in 1987. Since that time she has, therefore, not walked or had any feeling in her legs. She had virtually given up on ever walking again.
Delia agreed, however, to attend a Christian evangelistic meeting in August of this year. At the meeting with preacher Nathan Morris she said, "... all of a sudden I felt a voice which I knew was the Holy Spirit saying to me, 'Get up,' and I felt a feeling in my legs and then faith came on me to walk. I wasn't going to let anyone take this away from me and I knew this was my night to walk out of the chair. I walked and walked and felt I had entered another realm."
Delia Knox can now walk through a 'miracle moment' which can be seen in the video below. Delia continued, "This has turned my world upside down. I can stand in my kitchen and walk around my house. I am in awe at seeing the power of God not just in my life but all over the world as a result of this miracle."
As I've often said, I do not belong to any organised religion but I do believe in the power of belief and the possibilities within us. If the video is all that it seems, perhaps this is an illustration of what is possible.
