Avoiding Train Crashes And Other Disasters

 Angel and train disasters

It's interesting that when there is some kind of catastrophe - such as a train crash, Titanic disaster, tsunami and so on - there are always stories about people who should have been involved, perhaps even injured or killed, but for some reason stayed away.

train warningLyall Watson talks about this in his book Supernature and quotes an American mathematician, William Cox, who completed a survey in an attempt to discover whether people really do avoid travelling on trains which were going to be involved in an accident.

The mathematician collected data on the total number of people on each train, at the time of an accident, and compared these with the number of passengers who travelled on the same train during each of the preceding seven days and on the fourteenth, twenty-first and twenty-eighth day before the accident.

His final results, which covered several years, show that people did in fact avoid accident bound trains. There were always fewer passengers in the damaged and derailed coaches than would have been expected for that train at that time.

The difference between expected and actual number of passengers was so great that the odds against it occurring by chance were over 100 to one.

Okay, as someone or other said: 72.6% of statistics are made up! But it does illustrate that sometimes we may be guided away from events, happenings and people. Oh, and the opposite of course. We are also guided towards 'things'. That is, if we trust our intuition and feelings or anything else in which we believe.

In other words, if something doesn't feel right - don't do it. If it does, go for it!

Quote: Revelations can be simple or complex. They usually carry a special feeling with them; some get goosebumps, tingling or other physical sensations. Sometimes you may have no physical sensations but you feel a mental 'click' as if a piece has just fallen into place. You can receive revelations in many ways - directly into your mind as insights, from reading a book or by hearing something.

The Woman Who Communicates With Animals

Mouse - a talking mouse

Pea Horsley, the UK's first professional animal communicator, chats with animals and what's more they reply to her - and she understands what they say!

An example? Okay this happened when she had mice in her kitchen - and you must promise not to giggle.

Pea spotted one of the mice and asked him to come forward for a talk, they had been nibbling at her food. She began by sending him feelings of love and tried to talk to him, but he wasn't listening. He was in fact livid.

Pea said, "I'd like to talk to you about the food you are eating." He screamed at her and then answered, "I'm not going to stop eating! You humans are all the same - you're bullies. You don't care for us. What am I meant to do? It's cold and and I have a family to feed."

Pea told him, "I'm not asking you to stop eating the food; I just want to make a deal with you. I suggest that during the cold months I leave you and your family dog biscuits in a white dish. The rest of the food is out of bounds."

It seems that the mouse agreed to this compromise and all was well within the household.

Now some of what Pea Horsley claims does seem a little hard to believe but she has helped many pet owners. Such as a lady called Celia who's cat Joey had disappeared.

Celia emailed a photo of Joey and, while looking at this, Pea felt a sense of uneasiness and anxiety. She asked, "Are you okay?"

"No, I can't get out," Joey replied.

She asked him where he was and he said he was in the basement by the boiler. Pea asked for more information, "Can you show me more of this place?" She then saw a door and concrete steps. There was a green metal door hinged on the right with a handle on the left. She could see the cat in a dark empty space, lying by a wall and could make out a window with horizontal bars.

All of this information was passed on to Celia and, sure enough, the cat was found exactly as described, after having been missing for six days.

Celia has lots more tales to tell. There's Fred the goldfish who likes rock music, Scopino the tortoise who loves blondes and then there's Mr. Butch the rabbit with attitude!

As to whether you believe Pea Horsley or not is up to the individual but Pea says, "My journey into animal communication has brought me the very thing the soul longs for - intimacy - and I feel my life is so much richer for it because, in the end, connection is what life is all about."

"... connection is what life is all about" ... now that makes sense.

Date Coincidence At The Hospital

Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske Truro

I had to go for a pre-operation assessment at the hospital today (August 29th).

The clinical nurse asked me loads of questions for the paperwork and on each form she wrote down today's date incorrectly.

She laughed and said words to the effect, "I don't know what's wrong with me today. I keep wanting to write 28/3 (how we write 28th of March in the UK) wonder why that is?"

"That's because it's my wife's birth date," I replied.

Karin was waiting for me anxiously in the waiting room.

Everything has a reason.

Teaching A Dog To Read On A Bank Holiday

John Lubbock 1st Baron Avebury

How doth the Banking Busy Bee
Improve his shining Hours?
By studying on Bank Holidays
Strange insects and Wild Flowers!

It was a public holiday yesterday (Monday Aug 27) in the UK, though we call them 'Bank Holidays'. We have to thank John Lubbock 1st Baron Avebury for this time off work.

It was because of Lubbock, a Member of Parliament, that the very first British Public Holiday was given back in 1871. It was, and is, a day when even the British banks close.

But not many people have ever heard of John Lubbock (30 April 1834 – 28 May 1913), even though he was an interesting chap - who even taught his dog to read!

He was born into a banking family, and worked in banking besides being a Member of Parliament. His interests were varied and included entomology, botany, biology, archaeology, and ethnography. One of his mentors from childhood was Charles Darwin.

Lubbock saved Stonehenge! In the late 1800s a railway company wanted to run a railway with tracks right next to the stones. Lubbock put a stop to this, and it's horrific to think what might have happened without his intervention. Luckily he was interested in ancient civilisations and actually created the words 'neolithic' and palaeolithic.'

As for his dog that could read: he was sure that his dog, Van, was as intelligent as any child so he set up some experiments.

First he attached cardboard with the word 'FOOD' to Van's empty food dish. To get his meal Van had to take the cardboard to Lubbock. This went on successfully for several weeks.

Lubbock then hid the dog's dish and instead left ten pieces of cardboard each bearing a different word including, written on one card, FOOD. Van was able to select the right word to enable him to get his dinner.

Once Van had fully mastered this Lubbock taught him WATER, BONE and TEA. This moved on to OUT for when the dog wanted his daily walk. Sadly his dog died and his replacement was unable to repeat Van's success.

Lubbock kept bees in his sitting room - they had access through an open window - and also an ants nest in a glass case to observe insect behaviour.

The Victorian era is often much maligned in history but it created some interesting, pioneering individuals who altered Great Britain for the better in many ways - and perhaps had an influence on the rest of the world too.

Lubbock was interested in the average workers. One of his aims was 'to secure same additional holidays and to shorten hours of labour.'

Wonder where the politicians are today with such fervour and aims? I don't see too many about at the present time. In the UK the top echelons are filled with cloned posh boys with little knowledge of the real world. But once they retire, like Tony Blair and his missus for instance, they suddenly know how to cash in - ker-ching!

P.S. The verse about Lubbock at the top of the post was from Punch magazine in 1882.

The Mars Curiosity UFO Photos Plus A Pinch Of Salt

Nothing too serious today. I was looking at the NASA web site and saw the photo below - this is the link. It is from a selection of raw images sent back from Mars by Curiosity.

There is something - a small dot - in the sky, which I have circled in the second photo.

NASA photo of Mars

Mars from Curiosity

UFO above Mars
And if I enlarge the image, as per the photo on the right it has a definite shape.

The technical, official answer is that these are simply dead pixels on the imager. But if we want to float off into conspiracy land then they would say this, wouldn't they?

I did a bit of a search on Google and I found that the Daily Mail had similar images of something which seemed to be heading across the Mars sky.

As the pics are by NASA I understand that they are in the public domain, so here they are below. If you look closely there is a white dot that starts about an inch from the left of the top photo and gradually 'moves' across the horizon to the right when we reach the bottom photo.  Obviously more dead pixels!

Okay, the thought of UFOs over Mars may be taken with a pinch of salt, but there again who knows ...

Lessons On Faith And Life In A Phone Call

Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple Neasden, north west London
Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple, North West London
I was on the phone to Luke last night, who lives in north-west London. We got talking about religions and the like.

He told me how his father, Matthew, had Hindu leanings, though born into a Christian family. This came about because of his life long interest in yoga.

Luke and his father didn't see very much of each other in his early life and they only really got to see each other after Matthew had become terminally ill.

Matthew lived on the south coast of England and was determined to go and see his son in London so, despite his poor health, he went by coach on a day trip. He had faith that he would make the journey safely, which he did.

Towards the end of his visit he told Luke that he would like to visit the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple which is in north west London. Luke told him that they wouldn't have time as he would miss his coach. Matthew insisted they would have time, so off they went despite Luke's reservations.

The temple is quite a spectacle, the carved pieces that make its entirety were carved in India and then shipped over to London.

Luke and Matthew viewed the temple though Luke was anxious about them missing the coach. Matthew again insisted they would have time - and had absolute belief in this.

Being familiar with the London traffic conditions Luke thought they would never get the coach connection at Victoria. When they were ready to leave the temple, they had just over twenty minutes to make the journey. "Have faith," said Matthew, "We will get the coach okay."

In Luke's words the journey to Victoria was 'almost creepy'. Every traffic light was on green and they sailed on through the traffic without any hold ups.

They made it to the coach station but were still a few minutes later than the coach's departure time. Again Matthew assured Luke everything would be okay.

They went to the pick-up point and the coach was just pulling in to pick up passengers. It had been delayed by about five or ten minutes. "I told you we would make it," said Matthew, "Have faith."

This was the last time Luke saw Matthew alive and he is still amazed about the faith his father had that he would make his coach connection. He 'knew' he would make it on time.

By the end of my phone conversation with Luke I felt I had been reminded of several lessons of life.

Get Born On March 23 To Be a Great Olympian Or Sports Person

Aries or Ram free clip art March 23

"I daresay you haven't had much practice,"
said the Queen ...
"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as
six impossible things before breakfast."

I've never believed those horoscopes that you read in newspapers and magazines - unless they forecast something good! But in saying that I have noticed how some people born under certain sun signs do have similar traits.

What made me think of this again was a small newspaper cutting I clipped recently following the Olympic Games. This is what was said - but I'd better add that this was in a UK paper and therefore biased to us Brits.

"I'm not a great believer in star-signs but wonder what to make of the fact that Roger Banister (the first man to run a four-minute mile), Olympians Steve Redgrave, Chris Hoy and Mo Farrah, as well as British speed record breaker Donald Campbell all share the same Aries birthday of March 23."

I wondered, therefore, if March 23rd is a good day to be born if you want to be a sports star. So I went to Wikipedia to see some famous births for that date.  There are 73 listed births from 1960 onwards and 41 of these are famous worldwide sports people - 56%!

Okay, Wikipedia is far from perfect for many reasons but it's an impressive statistic. Okay - again - it's nothing scientific and many will say is therefore meaningless.

But, whatever, when we observe people there does seem to be varying categories. How often have we said that so-and-so looks like someone else. If this is down purely to star signs is debatable but sometimes, even though I have minimum knowledge of the subject, I will pick out someone as a typical Leo, Aries and so on.

In the 70s someone gave me Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. I still have the book and flitted through the Aries section, applicable to someone born on March 23rd. I read:

"... his Mars horns are hard, and tough to crack ... His metal is iron and its unbeatable strength gives him nine times as many lives to live as others; nine times as many chances of winning the battle."

And those are surely the requirements of an Olympian or top sports person - and, being able to believe in 'impossible things before breakfast' of course.

Dreams As Calling Cards From Her Dead Father

Dreams and dreaming

In the past I have had dreams that have come true and have twice dreamt the winners of horse races (even though I know nothing about the sport) so the following is probably a bit mundane in comparison.

Last night I had a dream about how someone was searching for my wife. It was an older man with grey hair and a small beard. It doesn't make too much sense but I was also helping him look for Karin.

In the morning I told Karin and she said that my dream made her remember her dream, which was about her father.

Her father was looking for her. I must explain here that Karin's dad was killed when she was only four years old, so her memories of him and how he looked are very limited.

In Karin's dream someone purporting to be her father eventually found our house and called at our front door. She didn't recognise the grey haired man so she asked him questions to prove his identity, such as: did he know her birthday, her mother's name and so on.

He answered correctly but then, as sometimes happens with dreams, everything faded and she woke up.

That's all there is to it, but it made me wonder if there was perhaps more to it than just two dreams on a similar theme.

I have recently completed making an album of my son's early days, as a birthday present for him - photos and so on for about the first twelve years of his life. As he now has a son of his own I knew he would like to compare his life to that of his two year old.

At the back of the album I included photos of his recent ancestry going back three generations. This included a couple of photos of Karin's father - i.e. my son's grandfather. I wondered if this was what had stirred those dreams? Were they simply because we had dug out the old photos - or was there something deeper? Maybe a link had been strengthened between my wife and her father and he was visiting to see how her life was progressing recently.

Okay, a little fanciful for many readers. But sometimes it's good to examine other options, besides those many would consider the obvious. The way I looked at it was: why wouldn't a father - even though no longer of this world - want to see how his daughter and her family were progressing? The dream was his 'calling card'.

White Feathers As Messages From Her Baby Girl

As regular readers know I have published several posts about white feathers and how for some, including myself, are seen as messages from those who have died. Here's a story from Kasey Logsdon who lost her baby girl, Khloe.

"In 2010 I gave birth to my angel baby Khloe Renee. She was perfect and the most beautiful baby I have ever seen, but a blood clot formed inside the umbilical cord causing her to pass away while I was 33 weeks pregnant.

I was completely broken and didn't know how I was going to go on with my life. While I was still in the hospital my dad was leaving, from holding her for the first and last time, and while entering the elevator he saw a white feather and picked it up and put it into his pocket

Later that night my mom called me at the hospital and said she had little white feathers all over her house and they were clearly not there before. I kinda believed her but thought she was mainly trying to make me realize Khloe is still with us

I didn't think much of it until the next day, when I was released to go home. My husband and I went to my mom and dad's because we were living there at the time. In Khloe's nursery there were around 10-15 feathers in random places in her room - and not normal feathers either. The tips are very soft, unlike pillow or bird feathers, and they are a very bright white.

I was amazed and so blessed my baby girl was home with me and I kissed every feather and put them all into one of the boxes from her room.

About a week later white feathers started showing up again. Like one time I was home alone, laid my phone on the table, went to the restroom and came back to pick up my phone. A feather was right on top of it.

The blanket Khloe was wrapped up in, when I held her, I had folded up into a zip lock bag because it smelled like her. I was crying and upset so I got it out and unfolded it and out fell yet another feather.

The first time I checked my FB after she passed a feather fell from mid air right onto my keyboard.

The list goes on and I still find them every once in a while but not as often. Every time I still kiss them and whisper, "I love you too Khloe."

Two months later, on what was my first Mother's Day, I found out I was pregnant. I now have a beautiful happy, healthy little girl who also brings me feathers she finds in her toy box."

Kate Thinks The Ghost Who Wants Sex With Her May Be An Incubus

young woman lying sleeping on bed

This is a continuation of Kate's story about her ghostly experiences and how she now thinks that her ghost may actually be an incubus. I'm not sure what to think of the story, so will let readers make their own judgement.

It's me again. I bet you thought you had heard the last of me. I wanted to tell you what has happened recently. You may publish this if you want.

My ghost has returned. I told an aunt about what had been happening and she says it sounds more like an incubus than a ghost and that she had a similar experience when she was my age.

Since I last wrote I have had this creepy feeling that someone is watching me when I am in my bedroom. It is like before. I get glimpses of something out of the corner of my eye, a kind of movement or a light.

I have an en suite bathroom and I feel that I am being watched if I walk out of there without dressing. I say it's creepy but I don't feel afraid any more if that makes any sense.

Since then things have moved on. I was in bed and as I came out of my sleep during the night it felt as if someone was on top of me. I'm sure I heard whatever it was breathing in my ear.

I opened my eyes and it had gone but I know it wasn't a dream, it was different.

A few nights later it happened again. I was lying on my tummy and I woke after a dream. There was what felt like a man on top of me. He was gyrating, if you understand what I mean, and again there was the sound of deep breathing in my ear. For a moment I couldn't move or open my eyes. After what was most likely only a minute or two I was able to speak and told him, "Go away." And straight away the weight lifted from me and was gone.

I drifted off to sleep again and it was that day that I told my aunt about what had happened. My parents wouldn't have believed me and I would also be embarrassed to tell them.

Two days ago there was another happening and I know this will sound as if I am a frustrated teenager, as someone who made a comment on your blog suggested. But this is what happened.

I was dreaming and the dream moved on to being sexual. I was with this young man and it felt as if we were about to make love. In the dream I was quite willing for this to happen. For some reason I then woke up but couldn't move.

I was laying on my back with my hands above my head and it felt as if I was being held in this position. There was a weight on top of my body and again there were gyrating movements from an obvious male. I could hear and feel his breathing in my left ear.

Though I couldn't move I'm embarrassed to say I was actually enjoying what was happening to me but then I suddenly got frightened and I told whatever it was to, "Go away." My arms were released and in an instant the ghost or incubus was gone.

I lay still, half wishing I hadn't stopped what had happened. I drifted off to sleep and the next thing I knew was my alarm clock ringing.

I told my aunt, my parents wouldn't understand, and she said how similar it was to her experience only she had full sex with the incubus and this continued regularly for several months.

That's what has happened and I know most people won't believe what I have said. They will most likely say it's a dream or I'm a fantasist. But it wasn't and I'm not.

The Zen Of The Wild Strawberry

Wild strawberry Zen

One day a man stumbles upon a tiger in the wilderness. He runs and runs, but comes to the cliff edge.

Trapped, he climbs down a vine, finding himself hanging over a ravine.

Two mice appear and begin gnawing at the vine.

The man notices a wild strawberry hanging beside him. He puts it in his mouth, "Delicious."

The Gorilla Brothers Who Recognised Each Other

gorilla brothers meeting after three years

Kesho and Alf are two gorilla brothers, both born at Dublin Zoo. They were separated three years ago when Kesho was packed off to London Zoo as part of a breeding programme. He became the dominant male at the zoo and developed into a 35 stone silverback.

This week Kesho and Alf were reunited at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire where they will now live together. The question was would the brothers recognise each other after their time apart?

The two not only recognised each other, they met with wide open arms before embracing in a big hug. This was followed by handshakes, shoulder squeezes and a bit of friendly rough and tumble.

But why the doubt in recognising each other? They do, after all, share 98% of their DNA with us humans.

The head gorilla keeper at Longleat is quoted as saying: "We weren't entirely sure that the brothers would even know each other, but the moment they met you could just see the recognition in their eyes ... it was quite unusual to see that sort of childlike behaviour in a silverback."

Sometimes I think we way underestimate our animal friends.

The Formula For A Healthier Sexier Life

Pinocchio - stop telling lies

This is about something I read about in a newspaper, so it must be true!

Don't believe me? That's okay, but I wouldn't fib because lying affects our health.

It appears that the American Psychological Association has recently presented a new study all about lying.

A group of 110 volunteers, aged 18 to 71, were gathered together. 55 were told that they had to stop lying for ten weeks.

The other 55 were the control group who weren't given any instructions or info and carried on life as normal. They carried on lying - and, let's be honest most of us tell a few porkies now and again. There are always circumstances where we think it's okay to distort the truth, perhaps to save someone's feelings and so on.

After the ten weeks was up the statistics were collated. It was found that the non lying 55 volunteers had fewer physical complaints such as headaches and had better mental scores than the control group.

The researchers credit the positive findings to fewer stress hormones being released every time we lie.

So to improve our health, it has to be no more lies. Oh, and according to blogger Eirini Haritou not telling lies will make you sexier! In truthful mode, I can't promise that this is true but this is her reasoning:

"The stronger your immune system, the more attractive you appear.

- The more lies you tell, the weaker your immune system.

More lies = less sex appeal

More truth = more sex appeal"

Looks like we now have a formula for a healthier sexier life. Can't wait!

Worse Things Happen At Sea

Newquay Cornwall beach

For the first time since starting this blog I have missed three days without publishing a post. There was, and still is, a reason. Unfortunately I have a health problem.

On Thursday of last week - just as I was about to step into the shower - the phone rang.

I knew my wife would answer the call but I also knew - absolutely 'knew' - that the call was from the hospital.

Karin handed the phone to me and the caller asked me to attend an appointment the next day to see a consultant.

On Friday I made my way to Newquay hospital where it was explained to me that I have kidney cancer and would have to have my right kidney removed. I have been booked in for this for the 19th of September 2012.

Needless to say this has knocked me back a bit, but the way the problem was discovered was by a touch of luck - if you can ever describe such a thing as being lucky.

I have been healthy all my life, take lots of exercise, follow a good diet, have never smoked and so on but earlier this year my local doctor thought I might have symptoms of colon cancer. So he booked a colonoscopy for me - the thought of which wasn't too pleasant. But it wasn't quite as gruesome as I imagined.

There was a problem, however, the consultant was unable to reach the far end of my colon - otherwise everything was okay but they took a biopsy to make absolutely sure. Though I am of average height it seems I have an extra long colon (I won't say what my wife said about this!). This meant that I had to return to the hospital again to have a scan to double check all was well with my colon /bowel.

I had the scan but the technician must have noticed something as she also scanned more of my body, including the kidneys.

It was this that led to the hospital phoning me and the consultant telling me the bad news at Newquay hospital.

The 'lucky' part was that if I'd have had a normal sized colon the kidney cancer would not have been found. Not exactly a silver lining but at least the problem can now be treated before it can spread.

Friends and family have been very sympathetic and keep telling me about people they know who have only one kidney or have got over kidney cancer. The funniest - in a sick sort of way - was from Karin's best friend.

Her mother had to have a kidney removed about ten or more years ago and had to remain in hospital for a while to recover. The first night, after her operation, the nurse came round and asked her what she wanted for an evening meal. The main choice was steak and kidney pie! A true story. Good job I'm vegetarian.

As for the photo at the top of the post this is one of the many beaches at Newquay, Cornwall. Karin and I walked along the coastal path and had some lunch sitting on the cliffs enjoying the view after I had seen the consultant.

The house to the left of the photo is an island, the only access being the small metal bridge. I've always thought it would be a novel place to live.

The Whale On The Cornish Beach

Last night I heard that a whale had beached at Carlyon Bay, which is near to where I live. I drove down to take a look as my information was that the whale was still alive.

Fin whale on Cornwall beach Carlyon Bay

It was a sorry sight.

The fin whale was about 65ft long and had been injured somehow on the head.  I've read since that fin whales are the second largest animal on the planet and are an endangered species.

The idea was to float him out to sea but this turned out to be impossible.  Police, coastguards and maritime experts were soon on the scene but were unable to help.

I stayed about two hours willing the whale to somehow survive.  The weather turned for the worse and the rain poured down, almost as tears for this wonderful creature struggling for his life.

Fin whale on Cornish beach

When I left it was quite dark on the beach. Sadly the whale died during the night.

Philippine Metro Manila Floods Coincidence

Metro Manila floods

As we know coincidences occurring in a meaningful manner is often described as synchronicity.

Trying to decipher any meaning behind coincidences can sometimes bring about some strange conclusions. Take for instance the recent severe Metro Manila floods in the Philippines.

The storms that caused the heavy rainfall weren't expected by PAGASA - the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical & Astronomical Services Administration whose job it is to warn of such possible happenings.

The floods happened on the 7th of August 2012, which, in the Philippines, they would abbreviate to 8-7-12.

"So where is the coincidence?" you may well ask.

The answer is in the Bible. It was noted by many that Genesis 8:7-12 describes how Noah - following the Biblical floods - sent a dove to investigate the extent of the great deluge. The dove returned to the ark, signifying that the flood waters have not yet receded.

The website for the Filipino Global Community were quick to seize on this. They told their readers to:

"Open and read the Bible or your history books and you will see that God always intervenes when it is necessary or worse, when God is already fed up with the evil that has captured the hearts of the people. You know too well the story of Sodom and Gomorrah or the Battle of Lepanto and yes, who could forget the Great Flood, where the people ridiculed Noah for building the Ark. To us who see things with the eyes of faith who fought against the Reproductive Health (RH) bill, God has shown his displeasure with a flood."

So the website knows how God is thinking and the floods are all down to God no approving the RH bill.

This is what Wikipedia writes about this RH bill:

"a ...key proposal is that the Philippine government and the private sector will fund and undertake widespread distribution of family planning devices such as condoms, birth control pills (BCPs) and IUDs."

Quoting the Filipino Global Community website again:

"Of course, to the eyes of the unbeliever, all this is a simple matter of coincidence. But for those who see things from the eyes of faith it is the wrath of God."

There we have it an interpretation of the coincidence between the date of the floods and the Bible verses quoted. QED? I don't think so personally.

It's up to us how we interpret coincidences and synchronicity in our lives - but sometimes it takes a bit of fathoming out before we get the right answer. I don't feel we should match synchronicity with what we want to hear.

As for the Philippine RH bill that is for them to decide.

Circles That Can Change The World

Ripples in a circle of a pond

This morning I was quickly reading a newspaper column by Sandra Parsons. She's not really my cup of tea but she made a throw away comment that got my own thinking back on track.

Sandra wrote how she was at her local Tube station and saw that, "... someone had thoughtfully left, propped on the ticket machine, one of the all-zones travel cards - worth £19.60 [about $27]." A random kindness in other words.

She went on to say, "It was yet another example of the goodwill that's enveloped not just London, but the country [because of the Olympics]."

She then spoilt it a bit by adding a negative slant, "I know it won't last. But wouldn't it be wonderful if it did?"

Goodwill and kindness doesn't have to end. It's up to us as individuals to make sure it doesn't. The Dalai Lama wrote, okay on a different theme but it applies to anything that is 'good':

"The question of real, lasting world peace concerns human beings, so basic human feelings are also at its roots. Through inner peace, genuine world peace can be achieved.

In this the importance of individual responsibility is quite clear; an atmosphere of peace must first be created within ourselves, then gradually expanded to include our families, our communities, and ultimately the whole planet."

In other words everything starts with us - ourselves.

If we want a kind world it's up to us to do something about it. It's those Circles of Goodness I have mentioned before.

If we want good manners, politeness, peace, goodwill, laughter, happiness, love and so on and so on in our world, it starts with us as individuals - in the middle of a circle emanating the quality we wish to convey.

Theses circles will gradually grow to envelop our family, friends, neighbourhood, town, county, country, continent, world.

Sounds fanciful, but little old us, can help change the world - if we start with ourselves.

The Ley Line Grid With Access To Astral Travel Now Open

Angels and the stairway to heaven

I thought I'd post something a little different today from Tristran. Most of it is far removed from my own beliefs about aliens, angels, ley lines, numbers and so on but it's always interesting to learn what other people think and believe - even if it does appear a little muddled.

One day the aliens will show themselves and admit that they have been on this planet since Roswell (1947). They will make out that they are good guys here to help us. Simply ask yourself, "If they are such good luvy duvy helpers, why have they happily watched civilization destroy itself over the past 60 years".

They will show great wonders like they did on Jan 1st 2011 with the 1.1.11 wake-up call. Approximately 75 million people across the world have seen the 11:11 wake-up call since Jan 1st 1991 and now have access to the (ley lines) grid and can quite possibly fly using astral travel.

Some aliens are 8ft tall like the standard height of angels or 'the watchers'. In their case the 'fallen b'nai Elohim' or men of God, a.k.a 'fallen ones'.

Those of us who have been seeing the numbers now probably have these 'angels' dna in our blood which explains why we can sense something wierd, wonderful, awesome and amazing is about to happen.

Ley-lines in the astral world are red, yellow and blue and will allow people to access this grid through interception points (standing stones) to this world. Its almost like a train line where stations (stone circles) allow spirits to disembark onto another ley-line.

Many ley-lines intersect at Glastonbury (England) which is why that area is so spiritually strong.

In the Book of Enoch all people that were contaminated with fallen angel dna are damned to walk this world for all eternity. These spirits are classed as ghosts, demons, nephil spirits, giants, rephiums and raphahs.

It is a common misconception by humans to class ghosts/demons as evil. It is not the demons fault that they will never leave this world. This is why demons are so hostile when their land is invaded by humans.

If anyone feels a strong desire to return to a place (that they once knew) then that makes them a raphah (pronounced raw-faw).

Following numbers (such as 11:11 etc) is a very bad idea. The ancestral spirits will also gladly insert numbers into your dreams if you order (demand) them to. They will tempt you with this pagan new-age stuff if it allows them to torture your soul after you die.

Trust me, you do not want to end up in the company of these fallen watchers (ancestral spirits). The level of fear that radiates from these guys will destroy souls in less than 10 minutes.

If you know of anyone who has met these fallen watchers, ask them how they felt. They will probably be shaking as they relive their moments of fear.

Evander Holyfield Not Recognised By Olympic TV Team

Evander Holyfield outside Buckingham Palace

I hadn't heard of this story here in England, but this happened following the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.

The New York Daily News reported on the NBC London based coverage:

"As part of its Olympic coverage, the Today Show stopped random people in front of Buckingham Palace to ask about Queen Elizabeth’s performance with Daniel Craig during the opening ceremony. Among them was a man in a white baseball cap and blue T-shirt who called the Queen 'wonderful'."

What none of the NBC team noticed was that, by coincidence, the man they had asked at random, wearing the white baseball cap, was none other than heavyweight boxing legend Evander Holyfield.

Holyfield Tweeted:

"Look, the @todayshow did a good job. It was hard to recognize me with the baseball cap. This could happen to any reporter. LOL!!"

He followed this with another Tweet:

"Hopefully when I get on the @todayshow they will remember who I am! I won't be wearing my white baseball cap! LOL."

Evander Holyfield won a bronze medal in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The Vampire With Iron Teeth

Southern Necropolis cemetery in Glagow, Scotland
Southern Necropolis Cemetery, Glasgow, Scotland
The children were well armed with sharpened sticks, knives and other weapons. They meant business as they approached the Southern Necropolis Cemetery in Glagow, Scotland.

Their mission was simple. They had no choice as two children had already been consumed. They were searching for a 7ft vampire monster with iron teeth.

The vampire had been seen in the graveyard and the kids were determined to capture this monster before it could devour any more children.

On the 23rd of September 1954 the police were alerted. They tried to explain to the children, and their parents, that no such creature was at large.

This didn't satisfy the armed mob of child vampire hunters who returned to the historic cemetery immediately after sunset the following night, and the night after that.

Ronnie Sanderson was eight years old at the time and explained what happened:

"It all started in the playground - the word was there was a vampire and everyone was going to head out there after school.

At three o'clock the school emptied and everyone made a beeline for it. We sat there for ages on the wall waiting and waiting. I wouldn't go in because it was a bit scary for me.

I think somebody saw someone wandering about and the cry went up: 'There's the vampire!'

That was it - that was the word to get off that wall quick and get away from it.

I just remember scampering home to my mother who asked, 'What's the matter with you?'

'I've seen a vampire!' I got a clout round the ear for my trouble."

The vampire was eventually forgotten but not by the politicians. Nowadays the Internet would no doubt be blamed for corrupting the children, but back then the scapegoat was American Horror Comics.

The 'Vampire with the Iron Teeth' in Dark Mysteries No.15 (Dec 1953)
The Vampire With The Iron Teeth was taken so seriously that the UK government introduced the Children and Young Persons (Harmful Publications) Act 1955 which, for the first time, specifically banned the sale of magazines and comics portraying 'incidents of a repulsive or horrible nature' to minors.

But before we laughingly say that a vampire or creature couldn't have iron teeth lets look at the Bible: Daniel Chapter 7 Verse 7:

'After this I saw in the night visions and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly: and it had great iron teeth: it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left/'

Perhaps the local Glasgow vicar was a little over zealous with his sermons but, whatever, it's a true story.
